  1. Hope to have my Zed back on the road in the next couple of weeks, if it is and I am not working I would love to pop over the border to meet you all.
  2. Well there is all the 400's like VFR ZXR and GSXR, maybe the ZZR600 thats not as sporty to ride but insurance should be cheaper and its a 600. I always found the 400's to be physically to small for me, I am only 6 ft tall but they were too cramped.
  3. definately no photoshop but fairly open to the rest
  4. Been searching through the rides looking at steering wheels for ideas as I am about to replace mine. If anyone has anymore pictures of theirs I would appreciate it if you could post them up here and also let me know what size you have, thanks guys. :)
  5. Personally not that bothered about prizes, just something that would be nice to take part in.
  6. one is shorter than the other
  7. A photo comp would be nice tho, something we could do for a bit of fun that shouldnt cost much to organise???
  8. Not seen that before on an import, I would say someone has either done it on purpose to be different or its got a wiring fault like speedemon says, not sure on how it stand for an MOT????
  9. I take mine to Ztech (long drive but worth it). Have heard of a couple of companies in Essex but never tried them.
  10. As long as its in good cond then yes.
  11. Paid 5 grand for my 51 reg S60 T5 SE, same sort of mileage and fully loaded in exc condition, hope that gives you some idea. (wasnt geartronic)
  12. you must be one of these "my cup is half empty" types

  14. Yes mate, its not you, leave the ad as it is because its truely a bargain for someone at that price :) . Its up to the powers that be to decide which way it goes and thats all we are asking about.
  15. Personally I dont agree 100% with the rule of having to be subscribed to sell on the forum because it does mean a true bargain may be missed, such as this. But rules are rules as has been said, does this now mean that as long as the car you are selling is below a certain price it can be advertised on here???? or as long as a friend of a friend is subscribed thats fine?
  16. Yes it is Roxie Hart :headvswal , I have contacted Mark loads of times over this and on his last email he said he was trying to close the business down but that is really of no interest to me as the problem has been going on for months and started with him saying it will be replaced within a week to not bothering to reply. I understand he has problems and could have been more understanding if he told me from the start it was going to be a problem. Anyway, I am thinking about ordering a couple of sets from the States, its a lot cheaper and if there is a problem I know who to deal with direct.
  17. Cheers mate, I will get a picture of the ballast pack as soon as my brother returns my camera, Richard.
  18. One of the ballast packs is faulty and causes the car to blow fuses continually.
  19. If its Unothodox it has the name moulded into the rim of the pulley, it could be an SGP one which is also good, Smithy will be able to tell you how to identify one of those hopefully. The ones to stay clear of are the cheap ebay jobbies.
  20. Got mine from Smithy with his usual 100% perfect service cant fault the guy. Cant remember the price, sorry.
  21. Drives the cooling fan / alternator a little slower but I have had mine fitted for a fair while now and not noticed any problems and I have after market guages fitted so I can keep an eye on such things.
  22. I reckon your has been converted some time over the years, peel back the headlining and look for a Heinz label or similar, they were know to bodge the conversions up a little and use any old tin available. :p
  23. These engines are seriously heavy, it killed my trailer moving one of these 40 miles and needs at the least 2 very strong men to lift one.
