Washed and waxed the Zed, then decided to change the oil which took a lot longer than it usually does because someone decided to put the sump plug and oil filter on with a 3ft caner bar when it was done last .... :headvswal

Base idle adjustment should be the last thing to touch as you may just be lowering it to cover up another problem, the steps in the links are for an erratic idle but some may help. idle problems 1 idle problems 2

As far as I know early NA's had different discs, its not too difficult to upgrade an early NA to TT discs and in my opinion it is worth while doing as TT discs are readily available.
