  1. I was reading about ACF50 in practical classics magazine and they really rated the stuff very highly, never actually used it myself though so cant comment personally.
  2. Body schutz applied with a gun will give a much better finish than underseal in my opinion. :D
  3. Hi Smithy, I have a plenum that has been bead blasted internally and externally, would your polisher be interested in waving his wand over it and making it all shiney?
  4. This link may help. clickety click
  5. I think its a good bike to start off on if your on a budget right now, enjoy getting some miles under your belt and then once your more confident and have the money you can move on to bigger and better things. Honda always built a reliable although sometimes a touch boring bike and it will be comfortable to ride.
  6. Why not get the correct coolant from Nissan, its reasonably priced, as for mixing, I know many years ago you could not mix different types but I think its all standard stuff now, if in doubt I would flush it and refil.
  7. Never heard of anyone using copaslip grease, I would wait and use dielectric grease unless someone can tell you otherwise.
  8. Dont think you can get the plastic bit on its own, try putting it back on and see if it leaks, if it does then it wont be a major leak and you can take it off again and use another washer or some liquid gasket.
  9. Just screws out, should not loose any water. ;)
  10. No 22 the black plastic box on the side of the plenum, if its a long way out of adjustment it clicks under the dash drivers side, a search will tell you how to adjust it properly, if its dead I think I have a spare.
  11. The guys in Leicester should read this, thats speed hump city and they are a lot bigger than 100mm
  12. Its on the drivers side, if you turn the steering full left hand lock I believe you can see it if you kneel down, held on by one nut and one bolts, can work loose sometimes ripping out the thread from the bolt, one of the easier jobs.
  13. Also for my opinion on these as a tuning mod for your car, the only gain could well be that they look nice, how much time was spent designing them? The length of each pipe will have an affect on the power the engine puts out, they are "tuned" to aid the removal of the gases from the heads, these are probably a cheap copy of a copy of a copy, then again you might be lucky.
  14. Removing the tension rod is a fairly easy removal of nuts and bolts that you will be able to see for yourself once you have your head in there, I would get somewhere with a press to remove and refit the new bushes though, people that tell you to hammer them in and out probably have never tried to do it as its not that easy.
  15. Like Pete says, same headers made in the same hut in Taiwan. There has been a few people mention these now, if you look at the photo I have attached I have circled the main difference, they are handed for a reason so not sure how they are going to fit both RHD and LHD cars.
  16. 2 days but the Golf ones he had on the shelf, maybe longer for 300zx, best to ring and ask, google will bring his details up.
  17. Biggred just did some for my Golf, brilliant service
  18. Nice pics, cant believe we have had rain all day down here and it looks bootiful there. :headvswal
  19. Cheers mate
  20. Looks like a good turn out there, can someone tell me who owns the blue Zed in the 4th picture with the graphic on the front wing and rear spoiler?
  21. Im working that weekend and both weekends either side so looks like I am gonna miss it this time.
  22. Just wanted to say thanks again for the drawing and show you a picture of it finally framed and ready to go on the wall.
  23. Looks right, I guess the nozzle for leaded unleaded is a different size so stopping you from putting leaded in and killing the cats, not that you can find leaded anymore.
  24. Mine has the standard buzzer for lights on as well and I am also sad and look back when I park up. ;)
