Did I see that Stune was banned as well??? as for scottywill I cant even see him on the members list so not sure if he is coming back, have emailed him to see how he is but not heard anything. This might be part of the reason people are saying the board has been a bit quiet, loads are banned :p

Mechanics have been using ATF for years, personally I would only use an engine flush as a last resort.

Add half a litre of ATF its better than any off the shelf product and cheaper.

Try Dave at PHNW as well, the price I said is from memory and I may be wrong, usually am. I am sure there was another trader selling them as well, something is telling me it was Ztech but hopefully someone will come along and know for sure.

I got my new connectors from PHNW, was a long time ago but think I paid about £80ish for them, at least you know they are from a reputable trader and no duty to pay that way.

Get a 200SX and keep it in the family

If you can bump start the car and it drives forward ok then I would look at the starter as the fault, its on the right hand side of engine, if you Jack that side up at the front you can see it from under the car, its held on by a bolt and a nut, make sure both are tight then try and turn it over again.

Has been known for the bolt to be ripped out that holds the starter in, lets hope it is that as itslikely to be a lot cheaper than a cambelt problem

To carry on from that then, when anyone registers with the club do they / can they in future have to agree to terms that state anything they post is a personal opinion and any legal matters taken from those comments have no connection to the club, just with the individual that wrote them?

And I agree with you that it rarely does go that way, perhaps another way of looking into that problem would be for the moderators to get a bit harder on people that just want to go on and on about the same subject because they did not get the answer they wanted, give them an explanation on the thread and not by pm so other members can see they have been warned to hopefully stop them jumping into the argument then a 24 hour to 7 day ban. A bit like the death sentence, how many people would commit murder if they knew it would up with them on the end of a rope????

But also on the other side of the coin, not everyone can get to JAE due to work and family commitments so maybe as this is predominantly an online club perhaps more should be done online, and not by PM but in the members area so people can discuss it and see that things are talked about and decided by the majority, and with enough moderators anything said that gets too heated could be stamped upon quickly before it goes OTT, after all we are suppose to all be adults that can hopefully agree, or agree to disagree and move on.
