  1. I was the UK member of the Aus300zx group buy for these headers from TTzed, his customer service is disgraceful to say the least.
  2. ah that rings a bell now, I had similar problems when I did mine, I ended up using a 3 ribbed 890 belt as I could not find anyone with a 4 ribbed belt in that size.
  3. If you can find a local installation engineer they can probably plug a laptop into the alarm and either tell you the pin or reset it, they can with my Clifford anyway.
  4. Keep meaning to buy one, had a whizz round Crystal Palace park on one a few years ago, great fun. Want a ZX7R replica tho.
  5. Congratulations to all, 15 hours pacing up and down, us men have a hard ol time during this labour lark. :D
  6. Thats on my TT, I just happen to have stripped the front down again :headvswal and had the belt sitting on the garage floor.
  7. Possibly air in the system if there are no leaks, as the air escapes the water level goes down?
  8. Didnt look at any other the details on it, just noticed Infinity V8 and a cheap price thought it might of been of interest to someone.
  9. yup, an alarm is only as good as the fitter mate, you are going to end up with an alarm that continually gives false alarms until the day some scum decides to nick the car when it wont go off at all, fitting this really is a basic job he should be able to do it with his eyes closed.
  10. Good on you girl, sounds like you sorted them out good and proper and just one other point, not enough women wear stillettos any more so that a double well done to you. :D
  11. Could be a bargain for anyone wanting to do this Infinity V8
  12. hey thats a good idea, also want the stainless steel chequered interior mats (plastic imitation jobs of course) any other ideas gratefully recieved.
  13. Air flow meter ? also known as MAF and AFM, found under the headlamp panel, you will see the air filter and just above that the sensor with wiring going to it.
  14. I dont even know what an AIT sensor is, do you mean AIV? Not a good idea in my opinion, the cars are set up to run slightly rich as standard, putting more fuel through without more air has no performance gain that I can see.
  15. I would always go for a standard Zed unless the mods done were to a very high standard and the car owned by an enthusiast with all bills for work done, even then I would have to think long and hard before I parted with any cash.
  16. Just bought one for my Zed like it, going for the full Fast and Furious look now, chrome decals down the sides possibly with a few flames painted on the front end, pink fur interior and pink neons, its gonna look mad.
  17. I doubt many had the full 225bhp even when they left the factory, those would have been optimal figures in a perfect enviroment, here is what I have done to get back to the stock figures that Nissan quoted. Blitz SUS Induction Kakimoto Exhaust SS Decat pipes (Petrol Heads NW) Unorthodox Underdrive Pulley (Smithy) Performance chip (DTA) Shrimpy Grounding kit Front and rear strut braces (DTA) Fuel line kit (Smithy) Rad pipe kit (Smithy) Brake Master Cylinder Brace (DTA) Porterfield pads (Smithy) 3G RS10 discs Chrome hard intake pipes (Smithy) Carbon Fibre slam panel (Smithy) Silicone Hoses (Smithy) Silicone brake booster hoses (Smithy) Replacement IAA valve feed pipes (Smithy) Greddy E-01 Multi Display Controller Custom Built Sunvisor to house above (Audioscape) AIV Valves removed Carbon Canister removed and bypassed Cruise Control removed Conzult & laptop (DTA) Rebuilt Autobox (Ztech)
  18. As a rough guess an average 16 year old NA Zed will be running about 175bhp in standard trim due to age, wear and tear on engine etc, it does vary greatly from car to car.
  19. Not got mine either, probably be tomorrow for our area mate ;)
  20. Wish I could get 20bhp from changing my induction
  21. Thanks for trying though Tony ;)
  22. Honestly if you do all this dont expect to see any more than 230 BHP, I have done all that and more, my last dynorun gave me a BHP figure of 225.
