no problem mate, may stop on the way for a fry up if you fancy it, depends on what time we actually do leave.
  6. Top quality job
  7. You know what happens when you turn your back and leave this place a few days, im the daddy now alright, now shut up and put the kettle on.
  8. for some reason I never really looked at her face
  9. I would say £240 would be more the price for an NA. Thats working on a hourly rate of £30 per hour and giving them 8 hours to do the job.
  10. Shame about the wheels, why dont Ford just put a ginger wig on them and be done with it.
  11. This is man flu, your never to far away to help a man with what could be his last request, pictures of the outfit would be nice
  12. Try and find out when the pump was last changed, and the timing belt for that matter, if its been a while then best to do the lot in one hit, belts, pump and hoses.
  13. Just dug this up for you from a chap called JeffTT, he used to come on here and help a lot of peope out he works on Zeds all day at his garage ....
  14. That is pretty much the highest point it can leak from, from what you have said these pipes would be the first point to check, they are a know cause as often neglected on routine servicing but its always difficult to diagnose anything over the net, most often when the water pump goes, with the engine running you can see water being flicked up from the pump as it spins if its that leaking. When you drain the coolant and refill its very easy to trap air in the system, try to do the work with the front of the car higher than the rear, have the heater on hot while refilling, take your time, leave the car running with the rad cap off and give all the coolant hoses a good squeeze to get rid of all the air.
  15. A layman can do the job, this link will explain how, upto picture G is the small pipes in question, good luck. how to
  16. Thats been done to death mate and people will never agree, but there are not many Zeds TT or otherwise that I would swap my NA for.
  17. ring ring ring, you dirty boyz ....
  18. I saw this today in Partco and thought it might be of use to someone, the spring type hose clamp fitted to the Zed can be a nightmare and sometime seemingly impossible to get to at the back of the engine, this tool has a flexible shaft, just slide the end over the clip and squeeze the handle.
  19. Probably does a little bit and also the cooling which is probably a more important side effect of the lighter pulley also being smaller but they are minimal and I personally have not noticed any difference in all the time mine has been fitted.

  21. There is a BIG difference in weight.
  22. There is a group buy being organised for headers at the moment, these are supposed to give the biggest power gain for an NA.
  23. she could jump out of a cake for me anyday
  24. and make bombs out of household items
