  1. Is the window tinted? if not I would say thinners or even t-cut but if it is still tinted I would be wary of that in case it messes up the plastic film of tinting.
  2. Its glued in and needs to be cut out with a cheesewire, I left it to a professional and even he managed to shatter the rear window.
  3. :duffer: Is there a car in that picture ?????? :duffer:
  4. I find its best to stay on the floor once drunk as long as the drink is within reach of course ... you got any Rod Stewart then ????
  5. perfect casting
  6. Love it mate, but aint got a clue what your on about, oh and in case your selling double glazing I already have it..... :D :D
  7. Well hopefully anyone with problems this might sort it for you, I still think that the HIDs are a must have for the lights even though they caused me loads of grief (actually about 6months worth) but well worth it in the end. And yes Mark, they have a polished alloy casing, if they were plastic I doubt there would have been a problem.
  8. Like Pete said, you need all 6 tested or its a waste of time, personally I would rather do the test myself or take a competent friend to do it for me, not saying they would be hiding anything but unfortuately these days people do. If they are all low then either its fooked or they are doing something wrong during the test.
  9. Saw you this morning (9th) about 8am, Red UK spec J reg pretty standard looking, was somewhere near Junction 22 / 23 on the M25, your the only one I saw on another 400 mile journey, does no one take their Zed out anymore????
  10. Thats the ones "Heart" from about 3 years ago so maybe the same as yours Mark, I think the problem is the ballast packs have a metal case so maybe if you isolate yours it will stop your problem, my lights did loads of weird things from the main beam flashing without me touching the stalk to sidelights only working with one dipped beam and also sometimes one main beam so fingers crossed it will work for others. I also noticed I would get a static electric shock when getting out of the car before I isolated them.
  11. Mine were part of the group buy that Outlander Motorsport did (no longer a trader on here) cant remember the manufacturers name now, sorry.
  12. I would just like to add that my HIDs were not bought from Danny, I dont think you were even selling them at the time unforuantely as I know you only sell quality.
  13. Happy Birthday mate :duffer: :duffer:
  14. I had loads of problems with my HIDs inlcuding symptoms the same as yours and cured them all by making sure the ballast packs were not touching the bodywork of the car, they are now bolted on with a plastic washer between them and the bodywork. I was told to do this by a local autoelectrian and it worked, he did explain why but to be honest it baffled me.
  15. I bet the long blue plug is the reason it wont start, too tight and it bows, too loose and the connection is crap, took me a few attempts to get it right. As for the TPS voltage thats a weird one, have you tried resetting it again? I have had the same readings as you and resetting the TPS cured it. If your really stuck I could come along one day to try and help.
  16. at least I managed to get mine off in one piece
  17. Never seen an OE spoiler thats worth saving, I was surprised just how well mine was bonded on, I tried the string in oil cheesewire style but gave in and ripped it off in the end, happy tugging :p
  18. Just imagine what will happen to the value of our cars if that was to happen
  19. Sand them down and polish, just dont be too energetic with the sanding as they are fairly thin metal.
  20. Unless you get them to fill out a vehicle condition report when you take the car to them and then check it before you pay the bill you stand zero chance of getting any compensation I am afraid, I make them fill it out purely because my car does not have a single scratch on it and it makes me smile when they walk round and cant find anywhere at all to put a cross on their piece of paper. but bare that in mind next time as all main dealers have these forms they just dont tell anyone.
  21. Thanks all, spent my birthday at work   but going to celebrate now :duffer: :duffer: but work again tomorrow
  22. Then he must have forged her signature on the paperwork for the loan or whatever it was thats secured against the house as no company would lend against a house without signatures from all on the deeds for the property. As long as she can prove that then she is not liable for any of it and he is in trouble.
  23. aaaargh .... the pink plenum again
  24. Have you tried to reset the TPS? disconnect the TPS and switch the ignition on for a bit and it will reset the self learn data for the TPS and you should get the proper voltage readings back, the symptoms definately sound like TPS related and I also have a spare one if you need it.
  25. I bought the zed on a spur of the moment thing as a daily driver but James300's zed inspired me to get mine looking as good as possible.
