  1. Check it with the engine running and up to temperature.
  2. Yes you do, a good strong twist and pull and it comes off, easy as that.
  3. He can do a complete fit but prefers you to get someone local, its a lot more expensive for Danny to do it as he has to use someone with test equipment to make sure its perfect before sending it back and it will take over a week I guess with postage, a tv repair shop should be able to do it for you for a drink but best to ask Danny in the traders forum for exact details (I think he may be away for a couple of days) btw I have one of his chips and 100% recommend it.
  4. Buy these then sell yours for £100 and get the carbon fibre inlay for free
  5. Smithy does a lot of carbon fibre, he may be able to help you?
  6. Danny at DTA does a good chip for the NA. ;)
  7. I believe whoever bought the car from 300horses had a lot of problems with the car, unless they have been sorted it might be easier to break it, I doubt you have paid too much for it and with all the extras it has it should be a nice earner.
  8. Look at the fuses in the drivers foot well.

Yes, it is difficult to get hold of Luke but you can now order via his website if you know what you want.
  10. I think with mine I ran white to s on the guage and black to earth on the car not to the guage.
  11. I reckon the insurance will want to go 50 50 on it, as said before there are no independant witnesses and also that way both of you loose your no claims and they get more money next year, you will have to put up a fight if you think thats unfair and then you need to be fairly sure you can win. I hate insurance companies, they are just thieves in suits.
  12. It should definately have been a series 1 when the car was new, maybe its been done properly and the new wiring loom soldered in like I did with mine.
  13. Glad to see the 100s of pounds of money I pay in tax every single week is being put to good use then, if I left my house to go to work at 5am and caught that twat taking photos of my cars I would be kicking up as much shit as possible with his superiors, and yes I would want he dismissed for it if possible
  14. ok pal, just trying to offer an opinion based on the 10 years I spent working for ICI autocolour
  15. You can but it will never be an identical match. In fact you can get some metallics that come as a single coat finish with no lacquer required.
  16. You could also try using a barrier coat in case it was reacting, cost about £15 for a ltr tin, rub down what you have done, spray it on staright from the can (no thinning) then put your colour on, and yes the Nissan AG2 red is a solid colour basecoat, it should be lacquered.
  17. You can get a chip that has a compensation for the AIV being removed but I think many people have done it without and its not been a problem.
  18. Everyone raves on about TomTom but I have had a Garmin Quest for over 2 years now, never given me a wrong direction and was almost half the price of a TomTom, people seem to want it because its the name to have and does does accent / voices  .
  19. Hello mate, do you still have the NA wheel boss for sale? if so I would like to purhcase  , Richard.
  20. I have dealt with the guy via ebay, I had a Kawasaki jacket and it turned up promptly and for the money is extremely well made.
  21. "elucidate" and that is a big word, it scares me ..... but to "elucidate" I post from home while the wife is here and I cant surf for porn.
  22. pah, I am gonna get me some friends and run this board one day.
  23. wasnt me .... you got any jobs going there? I'm looking at a change of scenery and use to work for Brown Brothers years ago, fancy going back to something like that.
