  1. Mine's ECUs for the TT Zeds are safe for use in Japan only. Too advanced for prolonged use on UK 99RON fuel available at the pumps.
  2. The AFR is alright. It doesn't want to be any leaner at peak torque, though. How long did it take? Just wondering if blanket changes were applied to the fuelling due to certain similarities in the AFR curves.
  3. 359.2bhp @ fly? That's achievable on stock inectors, stock fuel pump, stock everything. The difference in power outputs is in line with the additional boost.
  4. It shouldn't really be running at all, it will be dumping 2.3 times the expected/required amount of fuel. If there are no codes, then the inability to rev won't be due to the MAF. Isn't there a massive plume of black smoke out the exhaust?
  5. They're definitely not the ones from CZP, these have a square Bosch EV1 connector. I don't recall any yellow-coloured square connector sidefeed injectors, either. Have you asked John about them? Or searched for the original For Sale ad if they werre bought via the forum.
  6. There is quite a lot of innovation happening right now behind the scenes. I'm devoting a fairly large chunk of my time to upgrade options for the Zed, alongside developing my Impreza.
  7. They're an odd colour. Pink are standard Maxima injectors, buy these look more "orangey".
  8. If you're getting your car mapped, the idle timing can be specified then. Until then, a manual TT chip/ECU will give you the correct 15deg in neutral at idle with a missing idle switch
  9. Hahaha! Bob & Jaffa's are the big builds. My car never really goes to plan but I am trying my hardest this year to be competitive. And on time!
  10. There are some BIG builds in the process heading to TOTB this year. It's going to be very interesting :cool3:
  11. Hello & welcome :)
  12. The CAS should be positioned in the middle roughly. It is fully advanced. In order for it to achieve the required 15° BTDC base timing, it either means the CAS is faulty or the belt is a tooth out. Alternatively, someone may have thought "ooh, if I move this all the way to the left, it goes really well". That would be the worst case scenario. Measure the timing & report. Move the CAS to the centre and strobe it again. I am 99% sure I mentioned the CAS being fully advanced the last time this car was posted on here.
  13. Hello & welcome. Unfortunately, you may have some serious issues to address. Either the CAS is faulty, it is a tooth out on the belt or the mechanical timing is set to approximately 40° BTDC. Either way, check the timing and perform a compression test before going any further if you wish to possibly save yourself some major aggravation & cost.
  14. Hello & welcome :) Do you have an 8-bit or 16-bit ECU fitted? If it's a 16-bit, you will need a daughterboard. The options you have are that you can either swap it out for an 8-bit ECU, have a daughterboard fitted to your 16-bit ECU, or upgrade to a Nistune board. I should have some uprated side-mount intercoolers available if that is what you're looking for.
  15. Hello & welcome :)
  16. Well, the part in bold is incorrect. I much prefer taking the pressure reference point post TB. Shorter lines do not cause a boost spike. If it's an EBC, it's all down to the settings. With regards to Jeff, I have never been a fan but that was due to his attitude towards myself. But he is retired now so Zedworld-bashing is redundant. Regardless, his knowledge & input to this forum should always be commended. With regards to people's attitude towards yourself, your own posting attitude was the catalyst for how you may be perceived on here :)
  17. Bloody hell, he didn't have me on speaker phone did he? Apologies! :wack:
  18. That's odd, because I keep all my PMs and I have just checked those dates and there aren't any messages from you at all. In fact, on page 11 of my Inbox, which ranges from 29th August 2013 to 30th January 2014, there aren't any messages from you. I don't recall ever receiving a message from you, definitely not around that time according to my Inbox :) November last year I flew out to Spain to map a few Zeds :thumbup1:
  19. Hello & welcome :)
  20. I'm on a week off at the moment (well, week off from mapping at any rate). Next week has been pretty full for some time. So most likely the week after next (25th onwards).
  21. There aren't any big build big BHP cars on the road at the moment are there? :wack:
  22. Who knows! These are just for placement as my manifolds are being meticulously created from scratch. I will be going for twin GT3582R with a fully-built drag-spec PowerZed engine
