That is up to the moderators to decide. There are rules regarding "back-door trading", and also breaking cars for profit on this particular forum. Most car forums, in fact. Where there are rules, how can there be a "grey area"? An example of an open forum is Retro Rides. Dealers & traders regularly advertise cars for sale on there without any financial contribution to site running costs (as far as I'm aware).

No need to adjust your plug gaps, it's not detonation. Timing reported by diagnostics has no bearing on the actual base timing, which is set mechanically.

One of the highest powered Zeds in the UK uses Cometic gaskets. I'm aware of 3 high powered Zeds with Cometic gaskets that have failed. It's a gamble for a high-powered build. OEM gaskets have long been well known for being very strong.

Cometic are well known for being lower quality when it comes to sealing compared to other brands, or even OEM items. Unfortunately, U.S. companies still sell the sub-standard product knowlingly, even admitting they use other brands for big power builds.

For info: Resistor packs (aka dropping resistors) are used with low-impedance injectors, in the Nissan world that applies to top feed injectors as fitted to the 200SX S13 CA18DET, Pulsar GTiR, Skyline RB26DETT etc. There are some Nissan applications that use high-impedance top feed injectors as well (Skyline RB20DET).

Yes, hard pipes offer even less sound-deadening qualities.

They're going to sound nice, the accordion section in the OEM pipes is there to muffle the sound of the turbos.

Before I relocated the MAF to the FMIC pipework, I had my HKS filters behind the indicators, with a single MAF on the nearside. I never saw any issues with water ingress down there during heavy rainfall. Do check the connections to the PTU.

The gearbox didn't sound too clever when I was mapping it back in May last year. It may be worth sending him the information where I detailed all the issues I found.
