  1. Just a thought but I’ve seen some really effective carbon fibre hydro dipping. I don’t know much about the process (but there is a guy on the forum who’s into it, I’ll try and find out who it was and point him this way) but the products I’ve seen look the bees knees. Obviously you’d need a good scuttle to start with but if you’re not really trying to save weight and just trying to get the look then this could work for you.
  2. Sounds like you’ve got your hands full with this one! Looking forward to the pictures and the subsequent build posts. Good luck and welcome.
  3. Lol, never thought I’d boast about this but I think mine is smaller. :blushing::blush: I brought it back in the day when I had time for model making.
  4. Have you tried this yet Gary? I just pitched it to my wife as a Christmas present, she’s still laughing.
  5. Lol. I was hoping nowone would notice and I might sponge some unsuspecting publicity when Gaz300 pick up the trophy. :tt2:
  6. It’s also not an AH3 but a KL1, just in case anyone was wondering.
  7. Thanks Lee. It looked like I was never going to get the call from her majesty, so I’m hanging up my Walther.
  8. Hi guys I would like to update the South Central Members list to see who is still active and interested in regional meets. Please can you list your name and postcode so I can get to know you and plot a map of where you all are to arrange regional meets convenient to all members (I’ll post details of a regional Christmas Meet next week. Please indicate next to your name and postcode if you’d be interested in this please. Location and date to be decided after info gathered). Cheers, Chris.
  9. Me too. Unless it’s THAT CLEAN the light just bounced back a dazzled the camera?
  10. There’s little point doing it unless you’re pushing your limits and, as you say, it was always going to happen. I’m glad you had a good season and I look forward to reading about your adventures next season. :cool3:
  11. I’ve had loads of dreams like this involving 300zx and S1 RS Turbos.
  12. Looking forward to the YouTube guidance video and review you’ll no doubt make for us all next.
  13. Lol. Fix the problems, as you will by get what the car deserves if you don’t, and see how you feel in a years time. It looks like a great car, wish you had a build thread somewhere.
  14. As it’s only £2.50 extra for the “on the door” ticket me and my mate have decided to buy on the day so I’m very happy to wait.
  15. What happens last time.
  16. It very rarely comes up in my garage.
  17. Where did you get them from mate as I’m about to buy the 3rd brake light bulb too. - - - Updated - - - Also why do you have two?
  18. 1-3. Most people, from my experience, had no idea they were going down the wrong side of the motorway. One person who did know didn’t know what to do as there was no hard shoulder on the outside lane and couldn’t get across to lane one as the on coming traffic is flying down there. 4. I agree! At 60 you should have to take a medical every other year until you’re 70. Then at 70 it’s every year with a driving test every other year. (I also think every driver before this age should have to have a medical every 5 years and a retest at ten years. That would cut a lot of pollution and road traffic).
  19. Oh bugger. Funny that Friday is the expensive day.
  20. Sorry guys but I can’t find our discount code for tickets. What was it? CSCMS18 is an on the door discount for Saturday and Sunday but I wanted to precook and go on Friday. Many thanks, Chris.
  21. Never mind, I found it. There’s a little retaking clip that needs to be pulled out underneath the nob.
  22. Hi guys How do you remove the manual winding nob from a seat? I’d expect the nob to have a cover that pops off but, although I’m not attacking it very hard, this doesn’t seem to be the case. Cheers, Chris. P.S. Si, there’s better ways to earn a living than retriming seats for the 300zx. What a ball ache, there must be at least 100 clips per seat. :cursing:
  23. I have to say I love the satin black engine bay. :tt1: I’m thinking of doing the same so it doesn’t look out of place if I change the body colour.
  24. I’ve been getting this message every now and then. I wanted to send ash a pm but could access his profile.
