This is probably how I will approach my next exhaust and go for a quad “Abflug” look.

Weekday meet?
Hi guys I was wondering if there would be much interest in a weekday meet? I appreciate this is against the norm but I thought there may be a few members who, like me, have family commitments at the weekend. If you’re interested add your name and postcode and I’ll take it from there. Chris (Po91rl)

Tracking mods thorugh an insurer or another route?
It was a very long time ago now but I had an xr3i in my youth and when I came to insure it for the first time I was asked if it had any mods. I said no but was asked to double check by the operator as it’s previous owner had declared some mods and they felt that I might not have “noticed” them. Another issue A friend of mine once had was that after a write off he claimed on his insurance. He wasn’t happy with the first offer the insurance company offered him so tried to contest it. The operator this time said it was fair and that if he wished to continue fighting the offer then they would send out an inspector to visit the car as they had found the car on a forum with a list of mods as long as your arm that hadn’t been declared. Declaring mods really doesn’t add that much to a premium when you reach a certain age. I would advise getting someone with a little knowledge to view your car if needed to help you compile a good list to give the insurance company.

Performance Direct
A car kept in a garage is worth a lot more than one exposed to the eliments. They’ll be insisting on a careful lady owner next.:hammer::confused1:

This is an event/drive that Gary took part in last year. Reports from Gary last year were very enthusiastic and it’s been proposed that it would be nice for a few of us to to attend this year. Please find further details on the link provided and post your name on the list of interest. Feel free to ask any questions you might have after reading the link and I will try my best to find the answers. What did you do to your zed today?
Andrew, what date are you booked in? Just a thought but did you want to drive her across to me with your drivers seat fitted. We could the quickly swap the seat before you carry onto Kraftworks and I’ll store your seat ready for your return. Safes you going back and forth just for a seat.

What did you do to your zed today?
I had the same issue the other day when I blew the dust off mine Chris. Even at 4.5k in 3rd if I put to much on the loud pedal the rear wheels just light up. I put it down to the roads being very cold and dusty (possibly from all that salt that went down). Lol @ Andrew. I think Joely might still be on edge thinking that Richard done a waterless wash. :scared::sweatdrop:

Project UK rewind
Thanks Andrew. I’ve still not pulled the trigger on that. I was going to ask if you fancy a jolly up to the paint shop when your car is getting worked on and I can get their opinion on the job. Thanks Martin. I did try clear side repeaters but because I prefer the orange rear lights clear repeaters just didn’t look right.

Project UK rewind
All off, there’s not too much difference seen in the pictures but the ambience within the car has dramatically chanced.

Project UK rewind
Well looks like that’s my job for tomorrow, all the tints coming off.

Project UK rewind
I had a few hour today on the car. The first job was very easy and very satisfying. New left hand radio surround screw cover got fitted. Second job was to fit the new passenger side window switch surround as the old one didn’t fit flush to the door card as a result of missing it two front locators. And the third job was to remove the scratched passenger door glass and replace with good used glass. I haven’t tinted the new glass and think the car looks better for it. What do you guys think? Old with the scratches... New without tint...

Cheering Myself Up
Sorry to hear about your families loss Martin. For the wheels I think a dark “shadow chrome” effect would look great against the dark candy red. I had a red fiat coupe with the shadow chrome wheels and I think it looked great.
