Life is to short for all the hastles of arguing. I don't think ive argued with anyone for years (except the wife!!). I find it better to have the satisfaction of 'not' arguing and letting them think they have won.

Matey, get that oil cooler!!!!!. I was advised to get one. Like a silly fooker i went for spoilers etc....... then bang!! Box blew :cry: Power button is goooooood :) but if you floor it in drive you will still see the power indicator come on. This baby even turns the air con off when you boot it!! I believe the hold button is used when the bad weather is about (snow). Just stops you from booting it and ending up in a ditch. There good in the snow..........NOT!! :dance: Enjoy. What does your autobox oil smell like ?? If the bands are going it will smell very burnt and start to go darker in colour. I know!! I had a box go on me then got another 2nd hand one that went after 1 week of fitting. In the end just got an SE box. No problems now...............fook ive said it now!!! watch this space. You could drop the pan and have a look at the filter; also you would see if there was the fine metal dust. Thats another sign of the clutch set going :(

One moment that i found funny was when i was changing the Z gearbox on my driveway. The car was only on axle stands and there was myself,Mac and another big lad under there trying to line the fookin box up and the box started to fall off the makeshift wooden support (tech -stuff you know!). It was a right scene to say the least. Arms and legs goin everywere. Cosy though :D didnt know what you were crabbin' :shock: Put a whole new meaning to 'gravel rash'........

I suggest Tescos in Catterick ( the place to be!!) Its open 24hrs and the other facilities are great. If you get hungry you can pop to Greggs or McD's. Then if you get bored you could always pop into Poundstreacher. Buddy deffo your speed sensor. Costs about £80/90 quid. Ive got one sittin in my garage. You can have that for £15 + p+p. Its off my old box. It works fine. Its easy to fit. Only have to undo one 10mm nut under the car and sort the wiring out. Pm if you want details of fitting or you want the part. ;)

I've just took the advice off mt buddy Macca and put my fan shroud back on ;) I have noticed a slight decrease on my temp guage :) Thing is Nissan wouldn't put it on if it didn't do somthing (apart from protecting your fingers!!). You are directing cooler air onto the main block instead of flinging it everywere.

Any ideas for upolstry cleaners?? My pass seat is stained to fook !!! (from the rain; before stevo gets in there with another one liner!!)

I smear a good glob of vasaline on the the the ends of the rubbers. This works a treat until we get the really hot weather then it honks it down the next day :mad: I think it melts. I'd say it works 98 % of the time. Tonight being not one of those percentages :x:
