...anyone installed service pack one yet on vista? I'm typing this on my laptop with ye old faithful 'XP' operating system, but my main PC has locked up about 15 times in the last hour since installing service pack one and i have to keep re-booting it! It's doing my absolute nut in and if it wern't for the media centre software which i now use for recording digi TV and playing DVD's in this room I would wipe the drive and install XP.:mad: We've not upgraded at work as the new system is so unstable, but do any of you use vista on a day to day basis? How do you get on with it?

Get a solicitor or motor legal advisor on this ASAP...AA or RAC should help you out and worth joining either for this advice alone. If it's with the AA as i think you're alluding to then ring their motor legal helpline and ask for advice! Just don't name that it's themselves as the insurers who've let you down at this point. If they advise in your favour then hit the insurance department with both barrells telling them that even their own legal team advise in your favour..

I have mongoose as i wanted similar look to stock with quad exit. It's loud enough with a nice note with the targa's off or windows open when you give it some, but nice and quiet when cruising on the motorway and not that loud at all at lower revs...would be my recommendation as first call after stock...As someone has said, no such thing anymore and any you do find will be rusting through anyway?!!

"yeah man, drive it with no filter will be fine. what you should do it go to b&q and get some drainage pipe with reducers on, then link them all together until they fit and then ductape the airfilter on to it. then as a cold air feed use some tin foil wraped around a toilet roll and celotape it to the battery (or super glue, maybe even jb weld if strugling) might need some wd40 spraying in the breather pipe aswell otherwise you will get poisonous gases escaping into the car, and we dont want that do we finally as a word of warning, these airfilters tend to make the pistons catch fire mid turbulence, its ok as usually the fires put out simutanously when the exhaust valve opens (due to air resistance) but repeated use tends to cut holes in the big end bearings and then your con rods might snap." ....

Hear Hear! The key thing here is thr driver said he was blinded by lights. This is a MAJOR bugbear of mine! Parked cars facing oncoming traffic who leave main beam on.... If you had had side lights on he might have seen the door! it's in the highway code i'm afraid and if i was the other driver i'd be relying on this as my defence...

Never really thought that i could sit a 350 alongside the Z32 and feel comfortable with the heritage. This looks alot better but when looking at the rear on the review AndyP posted http://jalopnik.com/5084319/2009-nissan-370z-design-dissected...i'm torn again and don't like the rear end...Side veiw is lovely and i think that the reduction in floorpan has helped the look!

Drove it to Z tech for a rebuild by Ryan Southall! It would have beeneasier to just flush my cash down the toilet!

This looks like a sleeve to protect the filter from absorbing moisture post production whilst it lies unused in the box? If it was left in fuel will flow straight through? therefore it might improve flow, except for the fact the fuel wont be filtered??

DIY?? ...Ton of Gravel £20, Ton of Sand £25, 7/8 bags of cement @£3.50 and my mixer??...Pick it up in your van, i'll help you mix and lay it for free, in exchange for some space for my Z to do a job or two out of the rain in the coming weeks???!!

This guy is testing the water and seeing if your a soft touch! Do it once for him and he'll do it all the time! I noramaly help people if i can but have had a few hard lessons and been burnt so am always cautious. Yoy could have said yes and it'll cost you £25 to instill the lesson. PS Have you got £1500 i can borrow to pay my mortgages this month as she's nagging me for a present as well!!!!
