itchy skin
Think it could be the change in temperature and you've cranked the thermostat up in the house??....Try turning it down a bit a putting a jumper on if you get cold. Could be you're skin is a little dry (drink more water!) and the heat is possibly adding to the problem? Mrs gets eczema a bit and if i turn teh heating up and leave it on too late she gets itchy sometimes....look up that as there's loads of advice etc...you might have had it as a kid?...

I would have normally, but it was a flying visit really. Only decided to go on Friday night...Usually come over a fair bit as Mums from Kerry and is one of 7, so i've loads of Cousins all over the place now too. Would have passed your door on the about 7pm on the way back then!..Will definatly give you a shout next time i'm over - hopefully in the Z!! As you know though you come over and spend the whole time going from Family to Family !..I need a week off to get over the long weekend off!!

Private Reg
DVLA are so sh1t though it might be that they've just forgotten to bill you....I'd call and ask them and say that you thought that your mum was paying the yearly bill as your designated 'power of attourney' whilst you were working abroad....worst case is you have to stump up for 5 years back payments....

Why are they so many ****ers out there ??
Before you all jump on the bandwagon, is it possible that the cat might have been clipped by a car? I've had a couple and used to live on a fast country road and although they were all traffic savvy animals two got clipped by being a bit over zelous crossing the road....Might be that the driver stopped as well, but he's run home in shock...Just my thoughts.. PS if the cat sits on your bonnet its cause it's nice n' warm...Best thing to keep them off is anything Citrous...Orange, lemon or lime peel used to keep my neighbours cat off my warm bonnet...I didn't really mind till she put a big dog tag collar on him that caused scratches....Orange peel in the wiper ducts saw him off after that..

Amazing Oil!! +6 Bhp!!!
True test would have been to replace the old oil (Millers?) with 'new' of the same manufacturer and then drain that and try the purple stuff...Sounds to me like any fresh oil and gearbox oil will give a slight increase, so the purple stuff was probably less of a gain overall...Just my opinion.

Need your help: 0800 vs 0845 numbers
Local number is preferable as i believe it shows where your based along with an address and not running some sham outfit Also most people have bundled telephone service so calling a national numbers these days is free.. I also hate dialling 0800 on my mobile when out and about in the day as i don't get them bundled in my contract minutes- not a huge issue when you need something, but an annoyance nonethe less!

Loads in Wales then! a grand total of Two Petrol stations in Newport and they're listed under 'South West'...Somebody told me heating oil is 40p a litre and mixes better and cheaper with veg oil to give a resonable 'blend'...

Cheque Recieved??
open a new account. cash the cheque. State your name must have been on one of the HMRC cd's that went missing! I think it's a loan or credit card marketing chq to be honest....and you'll be charged interest on the cashed cheque from day one. I think it was barclays/ Capitol one who used to send me 3 pre-printed 1K cheques every 3 months for a while...they came in a tear off letter type strip to do with as you wish. These amounts would be added to my credit card like a balance transfer if i'd used them adn cost more than a standard loan or 0% card...They're NOT like a 0% balance transfer so beware!

How NOT to pass a drink drive test
Its the bit where he falls out the door and bangs his head again on the wall outside that made me laugh!! He obviously had to drive....he was too drunk to walk!! Obviously, (for the laughter police) i do not condone drink driving in any way and am merely making further light humour of this very funny video....

Shell V Power Diesel?
13k's worth (at the time) of 02 VW GTTDI ...tried and tested by someone i know very well ;-) he says it Pulls better too. granted this was after someone else tried it on an old peugot for a while with no ill effects to ensure peace of mind! No more than 50% mix though especially in winter. Prices of oil went up and the savings wern't there for him 18 months ago but he reckons it might be time to consider it again ;-) Best way is to get it converted to run 100%. All it does is pre-heat the oil as the viscosity is too thick 'as is', hence why most people blend it. With a conversion you have two tanks and it primes the fuel pump with Diesel before you switch off so that you're starting on diesel and then it switches when the engine is warm... Take a look at http://www.dieselveg.com/ the way forward...!!

Shell V Power Diesel?
If the 50K Derver was a German diesel then yes...Best cars for it! Rudolf Diesel designed the diesel engine to run on peanut oil so that farmers could continue to mechanise with rising oil prices....Just like todays oil price.....
