  1. Ok office tidy continues and here we have a couple of later spec models, again not really rare but not often see these come up in later spec design. Both of these have been on display and the red one has a rub mark on the door Take a look and see what you think, I am starting this at best offer over £50 for both models These items are with me in Portugal, but with a visit arranged for next week they can be brought back and posted locally in the UK, so given that, anyone interested they must be paid for by Sunday night ( paypal ) Postage will be extra ( will get best price)
  2. Ok I am having a tidy in the office and have several models for sale, some a little rare ( this one ) and some not so, will list the others separately. So this is a little special, comes in a nice presentation box and this has not been displayed outside of it so is totally mint, it is number 855 of 5000 and has small certificate with it. Take a look and see what you think, I am starting this at best offer over £50 These items are with me in Portugal, but with a visit arranged for next week they can be brought back and posted locally in the UK, so given that, anyone interested they must be paid for by Sunday night ( paypal ) Postage will be extra ( will get best price) - - - Updated - - -

  6. Admire your commitment ! for reasons like this I always advocate caution when newbies start a post with "new to zeds" project to make 500bhp any tips!! Jeff
  7. What cars have you done in the past to this high spec? any pictures so we can see what level your aiming at.
  8. Oh dear, lets getting writing that future ad for you now> "Project / engine for sale, thousands spent" Whilst Jim is an excellent engine builder and your clearly an enthusiast, your saying you hardly in the country but want 500 bhp but not to forge it, is the engine going in the Laurel or back in the rotten zed shell? could not quite work that one out. I just hope you decide with your head here, seems you have lost out already in the rotten zed shell be careful to not make the same kind of mistake re: the engine and the Laurel / zed shell. Budget ? £4k engine + £1k clutch and ancillaries + £2k big turbo`s + oh like some fresh wheels £1.5k or a respray £3k maybe some new leather £1.5k ................ there is no set budget with cars its a fluid thing, good luck either way ! Jeff
  9. Hey, hey Birthday twin less of the old gits !!!! Lol Jeff
  10. Erm...well that is a theory, also Kennedy was shot by the FBI Jeff
  11. Ha ha brilliant, inspired me to do similar on the M6 club, said I was swapping my v10 engine out for a straight 6 diesel and added a picture of an old engine... Jef
  12. Ahhhh had me for a few seconds !!:tt2: Jeff
  13. Rat infested 155k mile heap of junk..
  14. No How can this be possible the system by description has leaked fluid and so is no longer a sealed system, any air expansion ( unlikely ) would simply escape out of the same leak point. Jeff
  15. Mmm..... the Z32 does get side lined a lot, not sure why though, but it just does, imagine how popular and more widely recognised they would be if they had featured in the 2 fast 2 furious series of films to the extent the Toyota supra and other were. Jeff
  16. So many 350z now for sale less than the cost of a z32, not my cup of tea, but still at these prices they are a bit of a steal ! 17. Just to add, unplugging the maf be it good or bad with the engine running will cause a stall in most cases as the ecu cannot respond quick enough with the average / mean voltage it uses when maf is disconnected or failed, of course if your quick enough to rev it at the same time you can often "catch it" but simply easier to disconnect with the engine off, oh and remember it will generate a fault code ( 11 ) in the ecu that can be read later and will need resetting. Jeff
  18. Well done buddy, it is a back and neck breaking job eh! just think I used to do this for customers on a regular basis and just in case anyone reading is thinking of doing it here is one of my links showing how to do it including making a joint further up the tube to allow for extra reach down at the back of the fusebox. 19. Late 98 engine with early ptu mounted on it if I was a betting man would say its an early engine, that said it could I guess, of come from an early car with a later engine swap and to save changing the loom they used a mix of parts. So late 98 should have different plenum and other items different bolt on parts such as non painted fuel damper and pressure units but just in gold nickle colour, balancer bar not painted and different injectors etc. Jeff
  20. Aha, ok, that home made tool is very clever !! I have normally used the drilling method, drill a hole down the length just above the woodruff key slot ( not all the way through or you will drill the oil pump face, then use a cold chisel to snap the cog open. Jeff
