  1. Nope - the May edition. I believe it's on sale in the shops in a couple of days.... I'm subbed, so received my copy in the post yesterday
  2. Hi all Anyone seen the latest Modern Classics? There is a great feature on 1990s GT cars - pitting the likes of the Jag XKR, BMW 840, Merc CL500 - along with some lesser cars, like the Corrado VR6, Pug 406 Coop, Fiat Coop and Subaru SVX...… Oh and one certainly no lesser, the mighty 300zx..... The verdict - "The Nissan 300zx is the most engaging driver's car here. It's not quite as refined as some of the others, but its prowess more than makes up for it, and it's still a comfortable place to be....."! As they wrote, when eliminating all the others save for the Jag XKR. Second place, compared to a Jag XKR - which was designed and built a few years after the Z32 ceased production in Europe? And cost tens of thousands more! I'll take that....
  3. Looking amazing once more Lee....
  4. Speak to Jimmer at Powerzed…. He'll know your best options! Jimmer sorted my AC last autumn, so it's all working as it should once more
  5. Agreed - your Zed is looking very nice mate... Love the gleaming blue paintwork in the sunshine I'm popping outside to give mine a wash shortly - then it's back in the garage for Zeddy
  6. Thank you sir! This is my second Zed; I bought it in 2009 with 69k on the clock - it's now covered 116k miles, so I am not shy about driving it! I did have the sills replaced in 2018 - along with some additional welding and rust-proofing works. I also had it resprayed at the same time; albeit more of a blow-over as opposed to a full bare metal job. Here's some interior pics too..... Not that I need an excuse to share Zed photos
  7. Happy birthday Paul - have a great day mate! Richard
  8. I have been using mine, given the arrival of some nice weather last weekend..... Julia and I were meant to be spending a few days in Dorset, but (quite rightly) our hotel called to cancel late last Friday night, owing to the big Covid-19 shut-down. However we still had the days booked off - so decided to make the most of quiet roads and head out each day for some exercise, amidst our deserted coast and countryside. Responsibly, of course - we stayed away from other people (not that there were many) and just enjoyed being out in the sunshine, in virtual isolation. It felt great giving The Zed a proper blast along deserted motorways and rural A-roads. We covered around 650 miles - and burned a fair few litres of Shell's finest - with barely another car in sight. The car is a little dusty now, so will receive a thorough wash this weekend
  9. Thanks for the update Dan - and you guys stay safe too mate!
  10. Hi and welcome!! Answers as already given above.... It is indeed easy to change the UK set-up to JDM. Alternatively, you can update your UK set-up, if you don't fancy adding front fogs - I cleared out my orange UK-spec indicators and installed daytime running lights into the blank corner units.
  11. Hi and welcome (again) Naz…. ...Lovely looking Zed you have there - and good choice of colour, if I may say so
  12. I have nothing more to say - you have said it all mate.... You're dead right!!
  13. Hi and welcome to the club sir...
  14. Looking amazing Gary.....
  15. Happy belated birthday Lee - hope you had a great day mate! Richard
  16. I certainly wish for us all to remain safe - but is shutting down the country really the right way to do it...? The leisure industry is vital to the UK's economy; our manufacturing base died many years ago - farming and fishing? Well, yes, we produce some of the world's finest (ahem) produce from our fields and seas. But it doesn't keep the coffers filled. Tourism, on the other hand brings in the bacon - at least it did until this evening. Time will tell - and I hope it is the right call. Sure we are a resilient island, we will recover, but boy; is it depressing to think this could go on for months. Stay safe everyone....
  17. Me too... Governments think they are trying to help - and until now, I thought ours was following a more sensible path by avoiding a lockdown - but sadly it seems they too have decided to follow the Twitterati and act in haste. The vast majority of us probably won't catch it - and if we do, it should be no worse than a dose of the flu. A week or two sick and we'll get over it. It will strengthen our immune systems, should the virus return again in the future - so we look out for the elderly and vulnerable and let it pass. Just my humble opinion - but still life should go on.
  18. Happy St Patrick's day indeed - have a good one folks; even though it's sad to see the pubs are closed
  19. Still alive, kicking and occasionally screaming.... ….But (thus far) no sign of infection. Whilst I am not one to give into the mass panic, please, do stay safe everyone. And government advice or not, life still goes on - so be sure to check on any vulnerable neighbours you may have. The young(ish) and healthy should have nothing to fear; if reports are to be believed, it's like having a dose of the flu. Ill for a week or two, but fine in the long run; however the elderly and those with existing health issues could suffer more - so keep an eye out for those people.
  20. Agreed - thanks Andrew....
  21. Cheers Gaz. Vince lives in or around Nottingham - I guess he could have asked the dealer to sell it on his behalf...?
  22. Nice one mate - thanks for sharing the update.... I look forward to seeing the pics in due course.
  23. Hi and welcome to the club, Julian - I hope you get the issue sorted. We have some very knowledgeable folks on here and Jimmer is our resident 300zx-expert. Forget taking these cars to Nissan, nowadays all they know about are Qashqais and Micras.
