What did you do to your zed today?
Hate to say it, but it was mostly sunny in the Dover area yesterday..... ….Although a little overcast in Stratford upon Avon today, but at least it remained dry. I left the Zed at home this time though

What did you do to your zed today?
Today, I drove mine..... A little 250-ish mile round trip! We were supposed to be on holiday - after postponing yet again.... But this time, Julia and me decided I would have this week off work; and instead of going away, we'd do a few day trips. So for the first one, we took the Zed down to Dover and did the White Cliffs walk back and forth to St Margaret's. Then on to Deal, to wander along the sea front to Walmer and back. T'was a nice day in the sunshine - not to mention the thrill of giving the Zed a good blast

What is it about Slicktops??!!
I love the 300zx - all variants - and would happily have an LWB/SWB/targa/slicktop…… As long as it's a twin turbo I do favour the targa concept though, even though I rarely remove mine. It's just nice to have that option - especially as my DD is a retractable-hard-top-roadster. Interesting though, following Z-car evolution. The original 240 was a fixed-top; then successive incarnations became targas; until the 350z. That started as a slicky, before the 'vert came along - and those two options continued into the 370z. As for parts availability, why would a slicky be any different to the SWB targa - I mean, how often does the roof-type really have any bearing on Z-part numbers... Unless you're after roof parts LOL!

Great idea Lee - and yes "that" drives me nuts too mate......

Ambient temperature sensor location
I'm not sure either - as the ambient temp display was (so I thought) only relevant in series one models. Series two onwards had a different climate control system, with more control over air direction. This dispensed with the ambient temp display in the AC pod - hence I thought later cars no linger needed the external sensor!

Friday Night YouTube
One for tonight - Not Van Halen's best, but a feelgood song nonetheless...… And if it's not the official video, who cares, it's still good

And another dead Z
Sad to see - but barely anything worth bidding on that salvage for IMO.....

RIP Vera Lynn
Indeed - she lead an amazingly long life.... Yet still a sad loss, RIP Vera.

Another Z bites the dust
Well spotted Steve.....

Another Z bites the dust
Sad to see..... …...But the main passenger cell looks OK; no broken windscreen or badly distorted A-pillars and doors. Looks like the occupant(s) should have walked away. Fingers crossed!

Door trim screw - where to find?
Yup - I have used this technique too...…. One of mine was replaced with a regular screw at some point, so I have to do this each time I remove the door card - one dropped screw was enough to convince me...LOL!!

Dashboard lights
Yes - and yes.....

New UK type front bumper
