  1. I'm still 15 in my head so I reckon I've at least 20 years until I go through mine..............:D I must get the mirrors at home looked at though - as whenever I look into one of them I see a bald 38 year old staring back at me;) Richard:dance:
  2. And from me too:dance:
  3. I went out to start my ZX this morning and the battery is completely dead....... .....bloody typical; I discovered the MOT runs out today and my local garage could have done it for me. Julia took the Rav to work this morning and the SLK's bonnet is too long to get close enough with my jump leads. D'oh:slap: I reckon it must be time for a new battery - it was flat-ish last weekend but I jump-started the Z and took it for a 20 mile drive. I didn't set the alarm either as that can drain a battery but I thought there may have been some life left in it. C'est la vie.... Richard:x:
  4. I don't know..... ......but I do know that since the forum upgrade my signature pics have gone and I'm left with the little red crosses:mac1: Richard:D
  5. That is a nice looking ZX:bow: The black rims actually suit the car really well - very much in the same style as a Lister Storm;) Richard
  6. I'd just drive until the car needed more fuel and stop at a Shell garage en route.............;) They do have Shell V-POwer in Europe you know:D Richard
  7. RichardS replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - Non 300ZX
I agree with Kirbz's point about controlling immigration.......... .........BUT we should be preventing mass immigration from Eastern European countries; along with the undesirables like that paedophile just in from Australia. The Gurkhas are decent, polite and loyal people who have laid down their lives for this country - not any old underclass scroungers and scum that the authorities in Blair's/Brown's "diverse" Britain have determined should have the "Human Right" to be allowed to stay at our expense. The problem is, these guys are not the sort of people New Labour likes because they are loyal to Queen and Country - the very sentiment this government has destroyed in 11 years of power. The Gurkhas get my signature and Brown will NEVER get my vote. Richard:(
  8. My thoughts too mate. Leaving it too late would have left you feeling a lot worse; I reckon it was fate that you got in touch when you did. I hope you and your dad make the most of all the time you have. Richard
  9. Or how about this.......
  10. That's what I'd suggest as well...... .....or Toyota Corolla; but all except the new shape are fugly!! Richard ;)
  11. How about this one........ ......probably a re-post but it's still funny (PS don't look if offended at religious jokes ;) ) Richard :D
  12. Sounds like a good deal :hyper: I'm sure I paid nearer £300 over 5 years ago for mine..... Richard :D
  13. As there is no officially quoted CO2 figure it won't affect the 300zx. The CO2 figure is stated on the log book for any car registered after March 2001 (NB read manufactured - so it won't apply to imports registered after that date providing the car was manufactured and first used before March 2001). The b@stards have got me on my daily drive though  The SLK has a CO2 figure of 240-ish IIRC. Luckily (or so I thought :nelson: ) it's a Jan 2006 car; so I taxed it under band F as band G (for anything over 225) is currently for cars registered after March 2006. I paid £205 instead of £300; unfortunately the new bands are aplied retrospectively ingoring the prevous March 2006 cut off so I'm going to get stung next year :slap: Richard
  14. My exact thoughts too ;)
  15. Yes you can....... ......some classic insurance policies do "laying-up" cover for when your car is off the road for renovation works etc - which can be quite common if you own a classic car! Footman James do it - I used to be insured with them when I owned a 1974 Jag XJ6. IIRC it cost me next to nothing; afterall I was only paying £75 to insure the car fully comp for road use ;) It was 10 years ago though.......... Richard :D
  16. The Mazda 6 is still a fairly new car - should it still not be under warranty? Richard
  17. Those were the days............... :nono: No wonder my dad was a happy b@stard ;) Richard
  18. What, Fraggle Rock?? ;) Seriously though - me too Si. Limos have no class IMO, they are soooo common nowadays it's just a chav's night out  Julia and I hired a 1948 Bentley, but as that was over 7 years ago I can't remember where from. I do remember it was fairly local to me though.... Richard :smw:
  19. They are....... .....but they look too big for the car unfortunately. 18s would look better IMO ;) Richard
  20. Thirded...... ....I'm with Si and Mark - don't do it mate!! The stock ZX Paul (SWZ) posted looked OK, but your's is not stock and IMO will look very tacky in orange. Do the silver/blue/flippy thing MarkZX suggested is you must change - otherwise just keep the silver. Richard ;)
  21. So do I mate............ And I for one can sleep a lot safer in my bed at night knowing that such dangerous criminals are being stopped in their tracks ;) Richard
  22. Take this man's advice......... ........if those pads are good enough for such a serious ZX then they will be good enough for any other 300zx here!! Richard ;)
  23. Why is it that I cannot get to grips with technology?? I mean I was fed up with watching DVDs "through a letterbox" so I bought a wide screen TV a year ago. Yet when I put Casino Royal in the DVD this evening I still get those stupin fekking black lines at the top and bottom of the picture. Sure, I play with the picture zoom, from "panorama" to "cinema" but whilst the lines disappear, I lose some of the picture because it stretches the image to fit. Why oh why does the bloody thing still have those sodding lines when the damn TV is widescreen anyway??? I cannot watch it as it pisses me off..... Or am I just being too picky?? Richard
  24. If yours is a UK spec auto TT (like mine) then just under 4 litres with the filter changed is bang on! Richard ;)
