Can not believe it ???????????
What happened mate?? Richard:scared:
-
It had to happen...
I do feel sorry for her - for she is clearly deranged!! There's a good reason you get the big signs in fuel stations warning you not to smoke whilst on the forecourt; so why would handling petrol near a cooker in operation be any less dangerous??? Sorry if I sound harsh - I don't mean to offend - but please. It's for the benefit of people like her that bags of peanuts have to be labled "Allergy advice - may contain nuts!!" And Andy is right - it has been a slow week for news so 1) why doesn't the Government drop a complete b0ll0k and drum up some imaginery fuel crisis (not to mention the extra revenue it will bring) to get Joe Idiot running around in a panic trying to get some petrol; and then 2) Oooh look, Jane Idiot has almost toasted herself pouring petrol next to a cooker.... ......You couldn't make it up!! In the words of Littlejohn signing off - "Mind how you go!!" Richard:oops:

The demise of Daffy's Slicktop.
I was sorry to hear this at the recent Red Lyon meet Daffy.... .....your ZX was a truly fine example. But the Mister-2 looks a decent purchase and I'm sure it will serve you well. As everyone says, don't be a stranger - plus you might find yourself in a ZX again in the future. Never say never.... All the best Dave - and see you at the next meet hopefully!! Richard:yes:

sport relief
I'm not watching it mate..... .....but I am of the opinion that charity begins at home as well. Sure, I do feel for the children in third world countries, but with Europe and the USA in financial turmoil; combined with our government still churning out foreign aid like they have an endless supply of cash, it's time to concentrate on the needy in our own country. Personally I'd put a stop to all foreign aid until we have our own situation in order. Harsh I know - but needs must when the devil vomits in your kettle. Richard:cursing:

fosters gold
Quite right too Andy - beer needs nothing to make it tase good as it already does...... .....and tonight, as I made a curry for dinner, we started with a couple of ice cold Cobras and then switched to a nicely chilled bottle of Bordeaux Sauvignon blanc. No more booze now though as I have a long drive in the morning.... Richard:punk:

not really a teck question
Yup - I'm with Pabs on that one..... .....don't hurt the cat, it's someone's pet and you wouldn't like it, if someone hurt an animal you owned!! Richard:cool2:

how much you pay!!
Welcome to the club my friend.... ....firstly with fuel consumption, 300 miles from a tank on a twin turbo is exceptional!! Think more like 250 miles max on average between fill-ups (65 litres = £94.25 for super unleaded at £1.45 per litre) and you won't be disappointed. Anyone getting 300 miles is not giving in to temptation mate!! ...Secondly, classic insurance is your best bet if you can; try Footman James (dave@fj on here) or Lynbrooks as already said - they will give you a decent quote for a limited mileage policy. But you will need to have either a company car or another daily driver to qualify for classic insurance. .....Finally, buy the nicest example of a 300zx that you can for the money. Regardless of whether it's a manual/auto/LWB/SWB etc etc. Good luck in your search mate - and if you've any questions just ask!! Richard:yes:

London, one day !!!
Hi Alan, as an ex-Londoner myself, I reckon the Tower of London is the best attraction in the capital.... So much history, pomp and circumstance in a concentrated area (and right next to the river); it's hard to beat - it what London is really about IMO... Enjoy your visit to the big smoke mate! Richard:thumbup1:

Japanese stuff in car!
LOL - and no-one has mentioned a pair of Japanese schoolgirl's knickers...... ......such a claim being all the rage in Fast Car and Max Power etc, back in the late 1990s, when imported cars of all types were their big thing!!! Richard:biggrin:
