  1. Good luck to both of you Del - and we all look forward to seeing pic of your new arrival very soon mate!! Richard:thumbup:
  2. Yes - I have done it mate..... ......earthing the light to the inside of the boot lid is simple. For the live feed, just splice a wire into the live of one of the brake light wires, then run it inside the boot/wing trim and into the roof lining. From inside the boot, you'll see the cable trunking going from the roof section into the boot lid - run your new wire through that into the boot lid cavity, then down one side to the bottom and connect that to the live of your third brake light! Sorry but I have no pics - it was on my old red ZX which has long since been sold. Richard:rockon:
  3. Kewel - so 2pm Saturday then......:thumbup1:
  4. I knew there was something bad about the alloy ones...... The early TTs used cast iron, then NIssan swithced to alloy (presumably to save weight), and then back to iron again because of that problem!
  5. You'll be fine mate - my Zx is a weekend toy but I regularly use it for holidays and have coevred up to 1500 miles in a week without issues. Other than the fuel costs of course..... And yes, you will achieve 252 miles on a single tank. My journey down to Boscstle in Cornwall is 255 miles from my house - I don't hang around believe me:whistling: yet I still get there with fuel to spare.... I have managed almost 300 miles from a tank at a fairly steady 90-110mph (autobahn, not here)... Richard:shuriken:
  6. Never heard of that before mate..... Richard:mellow:
  7. Awww - great pic Allan!! Richard:cool2:
  8. Good work mate!! You should find that the stopping power will be vastly improved once you pop them back on. I didn't refurb mine, rather I just bought a new set, but you realize that the stock ZX brakes are actually very good when they are restored to "as new" condition!! Richard:wink:
  9. This was my fave pic of my old red ZX......:thumbup1:
  10. Not my house Dave - just the hotel I stay at on the sunny Isle of Wight mate.....
  11. LOL, that's what everyone calls me Baz...... Not for much longer if what I read in the news is correct Dave..... Although I am getting worried my neighbours will soon be chasing after me with their pitchforks and torches, since I probably used the last of it cleaning the cars last week.....:whistling:
  12. Heh heh - 'tis true though.....:crying: PS might have to move this to the members section now, just in case. As we do value our testicles.....LOL
  13. Yes exactly Dave - hence why I am now living on bread and water.....:winkiss:
  14. I know mate - that's the similarity with steak and blow jobs....... ......you get neither at home!!! Richard:innocent::oops:
  15. I look forward to seeing that mate - and as for huge wallet, remember accountants are tighter than a virgin gnat's chuff....!!! Richard:tt2:
  16. LOL, what are you implying Dave.... .... I have considered going 99-spec on the blue one - especially after seeing pics of Paul C's and Murt's cars...... Do you know where I can get one from mate.....:whistling: Then again the Stillen lip on Andy Isherwood's car also looks the nuts. Which is probably why I've done absolutley nothing.....:1eye: Richard:detective:
  17. Cheers Gary - whilst my blue one is a much better car, I still reckon that red Z32s look the best. Especially with a 99-spec front end........ Richard:thumbup:
  18. Exactly - and that's a very useful tip for anyone with 99-spec fronts...... I didn't actually know that until Graham said it just now!!
  19. Ahem..... Sadly I haven't taken many pics of my blue ZX....:whistling: But here's an artistic one of my old red Z which should fit the bill...... Richard:cool2:
  20. Welcome to the club mate! Richard:rockon:
  21. Why did I not know about this before....... Richard:scared:
  22. Many happy returns Trish.... Richard:clap:
  23. I've been out to the pub for dinner this evening...... .....started with a couple of pints of Stella then Julia and I shared a bottle of wine..... I feel quite mellow and content with the world right now!!! Richard:cool3:
