Rear number plate idea???
Yeah - that's what I was thinking too!! The number plate spoils an otherwise fine looking ZX..... Richard:huh:

Nice one Dave - sounds like a Top Gear Challenge.... .....good luck with the trip mate!! Richard:rockon: PS are you able to make the Red Lyon next Saturday?

I nearly bought one of these !
They did cause quite a stir back in the late 1980s....... .....and still holding their value I see. I guess there aren't so many left now!! Richard:rockon: Edit - not sure about the "value" statement now; I misread the price.......

Vote for me !!!
Right on mate!! Oh and let's all stop using the "green argument" as a means of raising taxes as well. There is so much "pro-global warming" propaganda that the whole developed world and his dog has been taken in by it. Me, I'm a sceptic, but that is my own opinon - the fact is that neither side knows for sure, however at the moment the namby pambys have their way. Thing is, the extreme tree huggers will not be happy until we relinquish our possessions and are living in caves once more, sleeping in our own filth. No wait, they won't even be happy then - because the extremists will always be bloody miserable no matter what!! They simply cannot be happy and enjoy life themselves so they'd rather spoil the existence of everyone else, dragging us all down to their level...!! Stand up for your rights people - I love red meat, decent wine and driving two fast V6, petrol powered monsters (and a 4x4 in the snow - yes, snow; that white stuff that alegedly does not fall anymore because the world is heating up???) I'll vote for anyone who agrees with that!! Richard:rockon:

Absolutely Disgusting!!! how can he be allowed to live here??
LOL - someone is not getting any sleep tonight:death: NB the 300zx.co.uk club does not in any way condone such behaviour and trusts that its members will not undertake to cause distress to a fellow UK citizen, in a civilised country

effin ell!!!
LOL - very true mate!! My ZX is a weekend/holiday toy but I generally find that the more it is used, the better it runs..... .....By the end of a week's holiday and over 1000 miles later, it seems to be running better than ever!! Richard:cool2:

Spark plug gaps....
Hi Alan, I'm no expert mate - but I thought that platinum plugs always came pre-gapped; so you don't have to do anything..... But I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong! Richard:cool3:

anyone heard from ck300zx lately?
Yes - I have heard from him too...... ......Chris has been keeping me informed of his progress - as Car.Mad says, he's been having computer related issues again. Hopefully it won't be too long before he's back with us! Good to know people are still missing him - I'll let Chris know that..... Richard:thumbup:

Any plans for another Red Lyon meet...?
Excellent - now you've no excuse not to bring your ZX Pabs!! So it's looking like next Saturday then..... Richard:shuriken:

Hello from Italy.
Welcome to the club Alex - that sounds an awesome project!!! As for squeezing a VG30 into an S13, I salute you sir. Although (whilst I hate to say it as I love the V6) an Rb26 would probably fit better and, being a straight 6, be easier to tune. The VG30 needs 2 of everything, so getting big BHP from it can get very expensive..... But good luck with what ever you decide to do my friend! Richard:cool2:

yea...mobile again
Glad to hear your good news mate!! Richard:cool2:

Absolutely Disgusting!!! how can he be allowed to live here??
Whilst I try not to be too opinionated in public about things like this, I have to say I'm with Stella 100%......:tank: And as for the telephone number being shown in that quoted post on the forum, if anyone complains then I'll remove it. If anyone complains...... Richard:angry:

Going to need a new exhaust :(
I have the Mongoose as well - it's louder than stock but still quiet enough not to be a nuisance. I believe the Japspeed system is a bit louder; and an excellent bit of kit too. Plus it's good value..... .....as for decatting causing premature turbo seal failure, it doesn't. More like it just shows you that the turbo seals were already on their way out - more smoke will probably be evident without the cats to block it out! Richard:biggrin:

Jump start warning
Another great piece of advice - thanks Jeff; have some forum rep for that!! This is of particular benefit to those of us for whom the ZX is a weekend toy, as our batteries are most likely to go flat if the car is not used for weeks at a time.... Richard:cool3:

Coilovers
I have MeisterR Zeta S coilovers and so far (only been on for a week) I am happy with them! I have wound down the hardness though, but over all they are not a bad compromise...!! Richard:cool3:
