  1. Always good to see some positive feedback for an Ebay seller of 300zx parts!! Richard:sorcerer:
  2. Yes - I reckon I do mate!! Richard:winkiss:
  3. A perfect way of ruining a car...... I dont mind the wheels though!! Richard:2guns:
  4. LOL - I know what you mean Allan and agree entirely!! Beamish is great - I haven't been since about 2002...... I must visit again one day, as you say it's a great day out. Richard:cool3:
  5. If you aren't up for doing it yourself mate, Stoke is not a million miles from Zedworld..... .....but good on you for giving it a go!! Richard:cool3:
  6. Yup - as well as Lynbrooks, Lancaster, Carole Nash to name a few more...... .... I am aware how much living in London loads premiums (my sister lives in Leyton and pays about £800 for her Pug 207cc) but out here in Bucks, I only pay £325 to cover the SLK!! Someone must be able to do you a better deal. Richard:cool3:
  7. Nice one Tom - on the T-shirt and the sub. Thank you for your support mate; and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!! Richard:sorcerer:
  8. To answer your question literally..... .....yes, it is wrong to be in love with a tool chest - well it is in most parts of the country, maybe it's different in Derbyshire.....:winkiss: But as to whether you should buy it, it looks a quality piece of kit; and if you can get it for a bargain price then go for it!! Just take care which tool you stick in it mate..... Richard:whistling:
  9. I'd probably concur there...... ......and is it just me, or have we had this thread once before......:detective: Richard:winkiss:
  10. I have mine on a classic policy; limited to 5,000 miles a year; the car is garaged (as I have a daily driver) and I live in a low crime area in The Chilterns.... Costs me £270 with an agreed value - I'm 42 with a clean licence.... .....I did use my ZX as a daily driver about 7 years ago and even then, with full protected NCB (car still garaged at night) I paid £400 p/a with Admiral for a "normal" policy. Richard:cool3:
  11. Wow - that's high!! I am glad I don't live in London anymore....:scared: .....Oh; and thank you for your support in subbing mate. As Steams says, feel free to advertise your car in the for sale section. Good luck with the sale.... Richard:sorcerer:
  12. It is the wrong time of year for one thing - not to mention the high running costs and fuel consumption; all of which make people stop and think before buying a thirsty, frivolent summer toy. Please do not let this turn into a for sale thread though as only subscribed memebrs are permitted to sell on the forum. The moderators will edit or delete the thread if it starts to go that way mate.......:detective: Richard:cool3:
  13. Nice picks Dicky - and Jason is right about the wheels!! I was planning on taking mine out today as it was sunny here too. But then Julia suggested going for a walk instead - so we did and finished it in the local pub at lunchtime. And because neither of us was driving, we could both enjoy a beer in front of the roaring fire followed by a nice bottle of Chateauneuf de Pape with our roast lamb before a slow walk home. Not quite as good as going out in the ZX, but I still have that warm fuzzy feeling inside nonetheless!! Richard:cool3:
  14. Most people have it changed (or change it themselves) when doing the cambelt mate - from what I have seen you have to remove the radiator, fan and belt covers to get at it!! So basically it is almost as much work as doing a cam belt, but without actually taking the belt off; which is probably why there is no "novices guide" to doing it..... Richard:nuke:
  15. I agree with that statement Allan - the rep thing is a two way street and there is no disputing the effort you put into this club mate...... .....and some more!! Also, and no doubt Lee will advise, I believe the whole rep system started from zero for everyone from when we upgraded the forum from the old format. We used to have the old "forum feedback" for buying and selling but that has now gone. Hence there appears to be confusion compared to when certain members signed up... Richard:cool3:
  16. Many happy returns Tom!! Richard :happybday:
  17. Give Mike at MJP a call (see traders section) - he'll set you up with a new OEM one mate! Richard:sorcerer:
  18. Great news mate - glad you are enjoying being in a 300zx once more!! Richard:cool3:
  19. LOL - be careful there Jane; he'll ask you round for dinner now......:winkiss:
  20. LOL - me too....... .....and to add, no wonder she has no teeth.....!!!
  21. Seconded....... .....and it would be great to meet you finally too mate!! When is JAE 2013 BTW..... as usual I am on hols on September so I hope I can get there for the Saturday like last year!! Richard:whistling:
  22. LOL - never happened mate...... Gaz is over the sea and far far away!!!
  23. Welcome (back) to the club mate!! Richard:sorcerer:
  24. To quote Sir Meat of Loaf...... ......"You took the words right out of my mouth.....! Richard:winkiss:
