z mpg vs xxx as a commuter
Something diesel..... .....or for £500, keep the ZX and don't worry about the mileage. It's low enough that a few more miles won't be of consequence, considering the age of the car now....:flowers: Richard:cowboy:

Site work, hotels and boredom.
Nope...... .......And to make it worse, I bet all the porn channels down there involve farm animals...... Chin up Steve, can you have a few beers to while away the time? Last time I was in Torquay, Jim Davidson was doing a stand up show at the theatre - I left there in agony after laughing so much!!! Richard:ohmy:

Engine Heads ported
Hi folks, Sorry, I have edited this thread pending the committee's further discussions on the matter; in the potential view of the interests of bona fide subscribed traders in this particular field. Richard

What did you do to your zed today?
Today I took the ZX........ ........Past the 90,000 mile mark!!! Richard:w00t: PS excuse the pic - it was taken left handed using my phone. I did pull off the carriageway into a very handy layby just as it tripped over......!!

Alarm choices
Keep it simple - get something like a Toad.... ...Should not be too expensive either; and if installed properly, is cat-1 compliant. Richard:cool:

500bhp for how much? Is a Zed really that much of a bargain?
Hmmm; seemingly minor mods....? Not for a genuine and reliable 500bhp... The VG engine is actually pretty tough - but as most are over 20 years old and still yet to be rebuilt, I say you pay your money, cross all your fingers and take your chances!! On a newly rebuilt engine, if the work (and power upgrade) is done properly, then it will be a lot more reliable. Richard:turned:

Crapping myself!! :(
Good luck Nicci - I hope all goes well for you.....:flowers: Richard:clover:

Cheap brake pads
Yup - same calipers I believe..... Certainly the Brembo pads I bought for the Z also mentioned Subaru on the box... Which incidentally are only around £30 on Ebay - so you for only £20 more you can buy Brembos..... Hmmm, no brainer for me:)
-
when your on here, what should you be doing?
LOL - great thing to say on an internet forum.... Me? I just visit the forum when I actually do have spare time - I rarely get that at work, so it's the occasional lunchtime for me. I am at home just now, so here I am... Richard:)
