Waterless coolant
If you're referring to the Evans stuff, it's been around a while and does appear to be highly respected...... ......My opinion, therefore, is not regarding whether it works; but whether it's actually worth the cost when compared to regular water/antifreeze mix in a car that I don't use every day! Richard:cool:

Ever thought of attending Japs North...?
Yes and yes - what they said...... Thing is, there can be many smaller, lesser patronised, car shows up and down the country; that the REOs may never be aware of.... However if any of those do catch the odd member's interest, then please do either PM your local REO - or post a thread in the regional events pages for your REO and other members within your region to see! Window Wipers
LOL - yeah; they were all the rage with the kids in the 1980s.... I lost count of how many Cortinas and Mk2 Escorts were adorned with those monstrosities at the time!!! Ahhhhh, the days of Motorists' Discount Centre....

winter tyres on daily drivers ?
Not yet..... Mainly because the only winter tyres I can find in the right (rear) size for my SLK are Pirelli Sotozeros (or something like that) - and at over £320 each, I reckon I'll soldier on with normal tyres. Just like I have done since passing my test back in 1987!! As for your X5, it seems like so many big 4x4s nowadays, BMW choses to fit summer tyres on over-sized pimp-daddy wheels. I noticed the same thing when I had an ML350cdi on test last year. Land Rover still fits "all terrain" tyres on the Freelander 2 - and Julia's Rav is also fitted with such things too; so perhaps if one does have an SUV, it might indeed be best to do what you have said above!! JAE 10th -13th September 2015
Yup - as Gay says, behind the scenes we're booking the venue and making sure we have everything in place for JAE 2015. It is indeed a new venue - easier for some, perhaps harder for others; but this year, there's no clash with any other major events...... Please do register your interest folks - whilst this is not the only major event the club is hosting in 2015, we still want to make it a success for everyone in attendance!! Richard:cool:

300zx Manual Twin Turbo '94 Veilside help
I can understand some peoples' reluctance to disclose reg numbers to potential buyers - but TBH if you were up to no good yourself, you could still always go view the car and obtain the reg number at the time anyway. If I was buying, and the car was a fair few miles from me, I might want to do the relevant HPI checks etc before travelling - if only to save me a wasted trip. So if the seller would not disclose the reg number, I might just cross his car off my list and move on.....

300zx Manual Twin Turbo '94 Veilside help
Yup - what he said..... There is no such thing as a "Veilside-made 300zx" it's just a regular car with loads of plastic bits stuck on.....!! Not necessarily - if the bodywork and engine are sound (buy on condition rather than mileage and modifications); then you can always remove any bolt-on [ahem] items that are not to your taste and replace with OEM. With the (bulk of the) newest of these cars now knocking on 20 years old, it is more important to ensure the body is sound and rust-free; and that the engine/turbos/drivetrain have no impending, latent issues. If all is otherwise well, you can negotiate the price down and then deal with the cosmetic bits to suit your own preferences! Richard:cool:

What did you do to your zed today?
Today - nothing - but yesterday I gave it a good clean inside and out..... ....I decided to take my Zed to Cornwall last week and, having covered around 800 miles, it was covered in all kinds of road grime and crap. As usual, the Zed did not miss a beat - the only pain was the fuel cost - but it was worth it.... Richard:cool:

What did you do to your zed today?
