A sad thread
Thanks for the poignant reminder Gaz; and I agree, an annual award named in honour of Mandy is a fantastic idea - one that Mandy would have been proud to have been part of.

A sad thread
Thank you for letting us know - and please accept my condolences; my thoughts are with you and Mandy's family right now. Mandy was an inspiration and she will be sorely missed in the club. RIP Mandy.... Richard:sad:

Decisions decisions - Caliper colour!
Either of those Si - nothing else! I'm not a fan of coloured calipers; and although I know you'll keep them clean and tidy, black or dark grey will at least not show the dirt!

Has Jeremy gone to far this time.
He's actually a Baron - and now has a seat in The House of Lords..... .....Looks like Tony Blair's honour got lost in the post....

Dead right Steve.... .....Sure, social media will no doubt be filled with smug irrelevant sandal-wearing vegans celebrating in what could potentially be the end for Jezza. But that is always the way with such mealy-mouthed types. Sure, he might be offensive - and some might (wrongly) claim that he encourages dangerous driving etc. But the fact remains, TG is a source of entertainment for several million people - if one does not like it, or agree with it being broadcasted, then switch off. But please, do not impose one's own views on others - if x-million still enjoy TG, then let them watch it. It's a free country!! Richard:clover:

Looks like I might have bought another car.....
.......Not for me, but for Julia. I have been tentatively looking to replace Julia's aging Rav-4 since Christmas; but was never in too much of a hurry. However today, I saw this very tidy Land Rover just round the corner from me. It's 2 years older than I originally wanted; but it's been so well looked after by the original owner - no kids, dogs, etc - and he's quite possibly as fussy about cleaning his cars as me. There's barely a mark on it, no paint swirls and hardly any stone chips. It has brand new Goodyear tyres all round, full LR history; plus being the HSE spec, comes fully loaded with leather, DAB, navigation, heated memory seats, panoramic roof/sunroof - and at the price we agreed, I have saved a fair few grand on buying one under 3 years old!

What did you do to your zed today?
LOL - I'll wager that contributed to the wear in the first place....:whistling: Oh, and I gave it a nice clean when I collected it this afternoon.....

What's going on here....!!??
Agreed.... ...I did like the 944; but the 300zx trounced it in every way - and that's not just my opinion, pretty much all the motoring press agreed back in the day. In fact many went as far as to pitch the 300zx against the mighty 928, as opposed to the 944; since Nissan's testers lapped the 'Ring in the 300zx faster than Porsche's finest drivers' own attempts in the (then) new 928GT. Nonetheless I do still love the 928 from s4 guise onward. It's the grand-daddy GT car; an awesome cruiser with a thumping V8 - docile around town and an animal when let loose on the open roads. ...

Had it serviced and MOTd......... ........Naturally it passed (not that I was worried) but it got its first advisory..... Apparently my front tyres are wearing low on the inner edges! Richard:cool:
