  1. In a nut-shell..... All cars first used/registered in the UK - irrespective of make/model - have a 17 character VIN.
  2. Welcome back to the fold mate.....
  3. Looking good Daz.....
  4. RIP indeed Gene..... .....Another sad loss to the entertainment world... I loved him as Willy Wonka - but best of all, were the films he did with the late Richard Pryor.
  5. ....And considering it's the new model, I couldn't believe the discount I managed to secure.....
  6. I spoke to the MB dealer today - delivery is expected early October.....:hyper:
  7. It's a no from me as well - I'll be on holiday.....!
  8. 1994 UK spec car....... ....Original reg number L26VOY.....
  9. Yup - but good luck mate....! And if you're doing it for charity, please do feel free to post up sponsorship details at the appropriate time...
  10. My humble opinion..... .....Leave the car which won best interior at Coventry alone.... It looks pretty damn good as it is Si.....
  11. Nice. And I have to admit, I do love that Royce.....
  12. Nice one Mex - thank you for your support.....! I'm sure you'll find the club/forum a great font of 300zx knowledge - and gain the full benefits of becoming a full member. Richard:cool:
  13. Hi and welcome to the club Mex.....
  14. Hi and welcome Si....
  15. I used mine for the daily commute today - and again, I'm pleased I did. The Zed is certainly back to true form once again..... It's tucked away safely in my garage now, though. And is full of BP's finest. I'll probably give it a nice clean at the weekend - ready for the next excursion....
  16. Guys, please...... ......Yes, Vig has sold his Zed and, whilst bidding us "farewell," has no doubt made some good friends on this forum over the years! So much so, that Vig may well return from time to time, to say "hi" to us all. So come on, let's not continue with the petty bickering, which could stop Vig returning - or prevent any other potential new member from joining us...:nono: I can, and will, clean up this thread if Vig asks - or if others feel it is in the best interests of the club and its members! Richard:cool:
  17. Yup - I agree with Gary.... OEM shifter - it's the only way to go.....
  18. As it was a nice day, Julia and I took the Zed for a blast through The Cotswolds...... ....Stopped off at Hidcote Manor, near Morton-in-the-Marsh and enjoyed exploring the gardens. Had some tea followed by a "spirited" drive home via Chipping Norton and Woodstock. It sure felt good to know the Zed was back on form, after its recent radiator woes.... I am impressed with the Mishimoto rad and auto-trans cooler set-up! It didn't feel too hot under the bonnet after the trip, ATF was right on the level, pink and, again, not particularly hot. New viscous fan stopped dead when I turned off the engine..... New Mondo-trimmed steering wheel feels great to handle..... All appears good and healthy - just in time for a week's holiday in Devon next month.... I love my Zed......
  19. All the best Vig - love the new Jag - and don't be a stranger mate.....
  20. .......bearing the letters "A" "M" "G" Is on its way....!! I have finally given in to temptation - I placed my order and paid my deposit this afternoon. It's a factory order, so delivery should be sometime in the next twelve weeks. My first brand new car........:cool: SLC43amg 18.8.16.pdf
  21. Yup - what Jeff said.... Good luck with the new machine sir! .......I succumbed to temptation and placed the order for my new DD this afternoon...
  22. Many happy returns Graham - I hope you have a great day mate..... And trust that Julie and family are spoiling you today....!! All the best, Richard & Julia......:happybday:
  23. Happy birthday Paul!! Richard:happybday:
  24. I did a couple of small, niggly, jobs I have been meaning to do for some time now... I finally (after how many years??) tidied up the boot trims, where my Meister R suspension adjusters poke through. I bought some metal washers and simply stuck them in place.... It's made quite a difference! I also replaced the ECU coolant temp sensor, plug and loom. The old ones had gone green and brittle - and TBH the price of buying new rendered cleaning up the old ones pointless! Oh, and I drove it a little more:cool:
  25. I drove mine. Properly! Now I have my new Mishimoto radiator and auto trans oil cooler in place, I thought it was about time to use the Zed for a few days..... .......I didn't realise how much I had missed it:cool:
