What did you do to your zed today?
Excuse the phone-quality, but I popped out to take a couple of pics of the Zed in the garage, under its new cover....

I know what you mean Gary - that little over-hang at the base just didn't look quite "right" when viewing the car from the rear. It was starting to bug me, to be honest... I bought this cover - saw it advertised in a classic car magazine http://www.cardustcovers.co.uk/car_covers/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=127 It's soft enough so as not to scratch paintwork when covering/removing, yet heavy enough to sit properly. Despite being "large sports car" sized, it doesn't quite reach the floor at both front and rear. But it does the job of keeping the car dust-free in the garage!

Kit cars
I'm sure you could make a few kit cars accept the VG - but I don't reckon I'd do it for the same reason Wchestnutt mentioned above! ...Although it might work fine, mounted mid-ships, in something like a replica Lambo Countach...

....Oh, and I also made use of my new, super soft, dust-cover when putting the Zed back in the garage....

I removed my "upgraded" rear wiper (the Laguna one) and reinstated the OEM version instead. I decided I preferred the "minimalist" look of the original wiper, complete with hybrid-style wiper-blade....... ......So if anyone would like a Laguna rear wiper, I have an almost brand new one up for grabs...

Event idea for 2017 your thoughts and input please
Sounds good Paul - I'd be interested..... ......But I certainly won't be camping mate...

stupid stupid boy!!! :(
Yup - as above mate! Damage is minimal - and hopefully the 4x4 driver isn't going to bang in a spurious personal injury claim, raising the cost of your insurer's payout beyond what's reasonable. Happens to us all at some point.....:flowers:

I finally replaced the left side windscreen trim...... .....And then gave the Zed a good wash, plus a coat of Valet Pro Classic Gloss Protection wax. Hell, the car was pretty dirty after a week touring Dartmoor, but it's now back to its shiny blueness once again.... 800 miles covered and everything in order, as it should be....
