  1. Having just mashed a set of bridgestone S02's in less than 9 months, i just went back to eagle F1's and love em :) . My other choice though was the new released Toyo T1R which wasn't in stock at the time. smithy
  2. If you do a search, this very question was asked only last week and an instruction link was posted. JFYI though whilst the r32 and z32 are reasonably compataible, they are different offsets from the perch. You'll find more details of this in my traders section and pictures! smithy
  3. Gimme 5 and i will mate ;) smithy
  4. Yer right there was mate, last week i think. Those with Pace coolers were certain these ebay ones were different to theirs by quite abit. smithy
  5. A 6 puck mate is another term for a paddle clutch, this is also as per the ebay link above, it's a 6 puck. The downsides of this type are that they wear down far quicker than organic, when they do wear down the disc is more expensive to replace and idealy you should replace same for same, the fewer the pucks the quicker it wears down, the pucks alllow higher amounts of torque over the organic discs generally however take into account what i've just said above and the often awkwardness to drive with it, best option imo is a high powered organic version, hence the Max street, this is just a bit heavier feel than stock, while the RPS Sport street is same feel as stock but for zeds NOT running bigger turbos and injectors. Just to add a bit on lightweight flywheels, the design of the one used on ebay link is somewhat unusual, am happy for anyone to show me a pic of any other well known brand that uses that same design around the ring gear, RPS, Fidanza and JWT being the most common are nowt like that ! btw if the RPS fly is a bit expensive i can easliy supply the JWT for around 250 quid. Hope all that helps ;) cheers smithy
  6. For that budget mate the RPS Max street is what i used for years and held 475lb's of torque no problem, even the mapper at WRC with John dixon commented how it held up after around 20 power runs :) Must have sold over 250 RPS units so far and probably the most common used in he US too. Let me know if yer want me get you one in.. Oh more details on me website http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/clutch.php cheers smithy
  7. Best taking richards pot and chroming it mate, once you remove the lines you actually do away with one your existing PAS pot feeds so would have meant capping or cutting off. smithy
  8. No mate, just 1 of the belts for the Alt is different.. Oh and yep, my prices are all delivered. :) cheers smithy
  9. Thanks mate :) Yep I do the SGP and the Unorthodox pulley sets both of which are seen to be the most reliable and better balanced around. There is a reveiw on the SGP one in the private reveiw section. Went to veiw another Zed about 2 months back, 1000's spent on upgrades and all receipts in a folder, there we found one for 30 odd quid on an ebay pulley and couldn't understand why when all other parts were top brands. The car now has a bottom end rattle and you can actually see the pulley wobble as she spins, no idea if both are connected or not though. Anyways some SGP kits in stock, supplied with the correct belts for whatever model/year and genuine nissan belts too ( except 1 on a UK spec only) £100 delivered :) cheers smithy
  10. Flippin eck mate thats well out! having such advancement is not too bad low down, in fact the car will be quick, however higher up the rev range it would lean out quite badly. Seeing as where you are, i'd pop along to phil at C+S Woods and have him check the timing with a strobe and adjust back to 15 degrees. I know from my Silvia days that if a TPS was bad/faulty it would gradually knock the timing in either direction, so a possibility on the zed too. Sorry can't be more help mate. smithy
  11. Chuffin ell mate, from when you asked me this last week. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=752871&postcount=5 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=752974&postcount=6 Right, the AMZ picture is the same as all other traders use ( a generic one) so from that picture, looking at your kit, what is missing ?? Amz themselves list 1 part short that they include in the kit, not 2 parts. Keep me posted... smithy
  12. Thanks Bud ;) N/A plug son me website John, have a butcher's :p smithy
  13. Yer right there mate, after phoning around on a problem i had 18 months ago regarding a non start, managed to track Jeff down, all sorted within 10mins and i've now been able to offer the same piece of advice on here many times since ;) cheers smithy
  14. Pre Sept ( i think ) 94's used different feed injectors and so require changing the end connectors to suit, so you had new style connectors before, now you have old style ;) Other than that can't see why it should effect owt else fuel wise. smithyu
  15. You can use it to start the car if testing summit, but thats it. Auto ECU in a manual car is no probs though. smithy
  16. Just remove the word "the" of the end of his link after .com, then it will work :) smithy
  17. Yep deffo a nice and unusal looking kit, dunno how much Amz is gonna sell it for but i priced it up for a fellow member myself buying direct from Japan and it was around a grand delivered. smithy
  18. It is mate, my site is for the pupose of 300zx members as it's 99.9% them i sell to ;) though i am known for my deals on multiple item purchases, lol cheers smithy
  19. just click below mate, 8th item down. http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/susp.php cheers smithy
  20. Fingers crossed it will be just under a grand mate :nana2: if it is bloody good given the specs. Like i said it's just the discs which are a hold up at the mo as I want to use 330x34mm and most are just 32mm. cheers smithy
  21. A Hicas removal kit, the one i do includes new inner tie rods ;) Either an N/A power steering pot or blank of 1 of the existing feeds on your pot. Rip out all the lines and the hicas solenoid and gubbins at the rear, which is bloody heavy, so a bit of a weight saving ;) cheers smithy
  22. Sorry mate theres not a hope in hell you'll get that shipped for 150 dollars or even in pounds unless it came by rowing boat :p I've been importing for a few years now and the past 12months it's at least once a week. The rebuild kit with DP & TP kit would cost around 160 dollars by postal method and 200 dollars by courier. The turbos would HAVE to go in a seperate box if shipped by postal as it would be too heavy and they alone would cost around another 170 dollars. For an example, a clutch kit weighing 20lbs costs 98 dollars and by courier 130 dollars. Couple things about that kit though, 1) the new harness, there are limited supplies of these in the US, Coz normally has most of them, there are certain years/models/specs that have been discontinued and it has been known to receive whats available and alter to suit. 2) Turbo's, this is what is really saving the money by going direct across the pond in this kit, however am sure mechanics here will confirm the possibilities of fitting new tubs to find 1 or both can start smoking right away for a multitude of reasons including fitting. 3) toga high flow oil pump, chances of this being supplied is like winning the lottery, these have been unavailble for months and when a well know Z tuner managed to get his hands on one from a specialst who supplies ALL toga products, the new pump was stripped down and found to be the exact same spec as an OEM one and photos shown to prove no differences. Now the point of this is show you, what appears really good, is not always the case "sometimes" ;) There is info there that is only known through both experinece and research and which could the diffrence between a good purchase or a long drawn out bad one, so you may pay a wee bit more from a company in the UK or on this forum, but how much easier and hassle free could the transaction be ;) Oh and £2345 + approx £200 =£2545 + 20.1/4% duties =£3060 plus any possible delivery fee. As for shipping as a gift, anyone who imports more than 500 quids worth of goods as a gift, is off their rocker :p hope all that helps smithy
  23. Glad to hear that mate, am just completing my new big brake kit which uses willwood 6 pots, new lines/pads/brackets and 330x34 2 piece discs, so that should be awesome ;) cheers smithy
  24. yes mate, all in my website and can tailor it to suit certain branded products if yer like or take something out and put something in ;) cheers smithy
  25. These brakes, this subject and 350z brakes was discussed in length literally about 3 or 4 days ago mate, just put some words like brakes and 350z in search, you'l be amazed! cheers smithy
