I know in my case it was only 35 bucks, but it was more the inconvenience it caused me. Would be a good idea to start a thread for those effected (only) to list the amount owed, that way theres a bigger picture to see the extent of all this. Also does anyone know how to trace registration plates ? he was selling a personalised reg that i think never sold, assuming he still has it, then a trace would give his new address, possibly... :( Finally, i would expect anyone leaving a house to have forward mail service set up for a while, MAC if you have his address could you PM those effected so they can maybe send something in the post to him ? Mine was a bank transfer so i don't have these details. cheers smithy

Autosport show
If anyones going this week and hasn't bought an Arena ticket for the Live show, I would reccommend you do :) Not much room for the cars to give it some serious welly and it's dark, but given those circumstances all the those putting on the show do really well, certainly the "steer from the rear" boys with their S15's, 2 of them are modified and throw out some awesome flames :) Oh and it's LOUD!!! 2 Quick queries
TBH, an 8" front with either 8.5 or 9" rear suits the Zed well ( most have 8.5" i would guess) 7in wide is deffo too small bud. As for the manuals, haynes certainly make no reference to the Z32 and i much doubt the other 2 do either am afraid, though i personally ain't heard of the other 2 :p smithy

Aem Yes Or No
theres no hassle in mapping them at all mate, if anyone struggles, they shouldn't even be doing it! Like i said before pretty much any scooby Gems mapper can do it, certainly the many skyline mappers use AEM so they can too and I know richard bell at risingsun performance ( skyline tuner) has been to the US and done a week long course on AEM mapping. So in short no hassle to outweigh the benefits bud :) Yep you can bin the MAF and don't forget it comes with built in launch and traction control too and is easliy mappable for different things you wanna do. Best thing it has that the other companies don't, is an online back up, if you struggle to understand/use any particular feature, simply ask on the AEM forum and the AEM techies will respond directly  Hope that explains things better.. cheers smithy

Aem Yes Or No
You wern't seriously expecting an answer within 13mins at nearly 2am were yer :p The AEM will benefit pretty much any Zed thats being performance modified, however those with bigger injectors/Turbos and even more will benefit the most. When you price up the individual features the AEM has and say purchase from known jap brands, it works out VFM in a big way. It simply fits implace of your existing ECU in minutes, though some accessorries will add a little fitting time. It's a Gems based unit, so pretty much any Scooby mapper can map the AEM, though IMO i'd would prefer to see an AEM trained mapper get the most from the unit itself. It comes with a base Map to get you started as well. You can more details on my website in the performance section :) smithy

got a petrol smell on chris@getgreddys zed
Well done in purchasing a pretty good example, mate of mine tried to buy but couldn't secure at a decent price, if yer don't mind me asking what price range you bought it in ? ( cheeky i know :) ) The most common line that leaks is the one right under the throttle linkage and is about 2ins long, fuel smells arn't always the lines, but certainly a god place to start. cheers smithy

Replacement lights for Fogs
Yes mate, usually the lens is different as it produces the light for different reasons. Oh and often the bulb wattage can be different too.. cheers smithy

Replacement lights for Fogs
Well for me, even though am a UK spec, i have enough openings as there is on me new front bumper, didn't want fog lights that i would never use, so thought i would fit driving lights instead so that they would at least get used, though with 99 spec front headlights, i should be able to see where am going :) smithy

Replacement lights for Fogs

Zedder's Holiday 2007
shouldn't be a problem mate, i see quite often and i'd be happy to ask him to show his face and join in the fun :D like i said, if yer make it a proper zed meet and have a dvd made of it at the trackday, who better to present it  am sure he'd like to be taken for a spin in a decent motor for a change :D smithy

Zedder's Holiday 2007
There okay mate, some real nice chicks and if you come over say on a friday until monday, bars would be busy too. Generally the other car clubs try and coincide it with some other motorsport event going on, like the manx international rally, straight liners event, the national 3 day hillclimb event ( anyone can enter) or when top gear are over messing with cars etc anyways if you get a holiday, give the Zed a holiday too so it's like a big meet :D smithy

Zedder's Holiday 2007
Nah all come over to the isle of man, shit loads of car clubs do :D No overall speed limit, great trackday and 1/4 mile days , all private if yer like too, you simply hire the whole area. Often close the mountain section of the famous TT course for clubs to cruise/speed over usually trying to catch a traffic cop car!! Duke video are based on the Island so can do a DVD, Jeremy clarkson is over like every couple of weeks cos he has a house here so can be part of the events and host the DVD. Think most clubs pay around 250 -300 quid each for a long weekend which includes ferry over, hotel and hire of the track area etc. cheers smithy

Dump Valves
You can use the universal ones bud no probs, if you want em fitted to some hard pipes in the engine bay speak with danny at dta motorsport in the traders area and he'll sort you out. If you decide on the HKS, I can do em for £345 delivered. If fitting BOV's in place of the existing recirc pipes it's a little cheaper to do. Oh btw, Blitz used to do a Zed specific dump valve kit so yes it's highly possible those you spoke to were being honest. cheers smithy
