  3. Thanks mate, I kinda went for an uncluttered, clean and hopefully colour contrasting effect :) I just wish I could take better pics in the sun, theres gold flake in all the covers, gold candy in the plenum and some of me hoses now look orange in the pics  cheers smithy

  8. Right mate, still before yer go sploshing the dosh, Your ECU has a problem right now and if i was in your shoes, stick the ECU in the post tomorow to the likes of Andy P or John Dixon, they can then dertermine if it's the chip you've got thats fooked or the ECU unit itself, if the chip then they can replace and send back to you, the costs involved you would then seek to get from who ever supplied/installed your original chip, this way you would be mobile agin very quick. If either of these guys say the ECU is fried chances are they may have one you could have until you replace it for them at a later date, again they would chip it and send back to yer. All of the above could have you on the road By Mid next week mate, roughly same time to get a replacement.More importantly though, knowing if costs are summit to have to bare or seek from others later on! cheers smithy
  9. :headvswal :headvswal No ones really bothered about the cambelt bud, YOU said that it only takes 1.5hrs to do the waterpump swap, we're just saying that is almost impossible ( without fooking up) to do it in that time, hence the reason for doing whilst the guy did the cambelt, geez....... smithy
  10. erm think we got crossed wires here bud, no one is saying 1.5hrs for a cambelt, am saying it's more than 1.5hrs just to get the pump and get it off, the cambelt being a bit more involved should be even longer again. All pete and i were saying 1.5 hrs for a water pump, then he will make a few bob from peeps here as it is very very quick !! smithy
  11. chuffin ell your mans quick ! even our own traders would be hard pressed to remove shroud, viscous fan, drain coolant, PTU and other electrical harnesses, remove water inlet pipes, remove cam covers an dthen finally remove the pump, re fit in reverse and re fill coolant and check, This is 1 reason why i questioned the cambelt, cos you gotta do this at least just to get to it... smithy
  12. Sy before yer going spending all yer dosh, did you swap ECU's and confirm the replacement sorted yer problems ?? smithy
  13. The advice i generally give any customer asking about adjuatble suspension is this :- If your car is lowered and running 16's or 17's and your 17's are not usually expensive tyres, then the shim kits available are more that capable. If your running 18's and above and tend to go with the dearer range of tyres, then deffo adjustable upper arms for camber and tension rods for castor. I supply only SPL and Powertrix because they are the biggest sellers in the US with great feedback, they are designed solely for the offset of the Z32 and unlike cheaper brands these come with sealand Koyo bearings to help prevent premature failure and having to ensure they are constantly greased. Hope that helps fellas :) smithy
  14. Hmm think i would double check that you have deffo got a cambelt there mate, that price is VERY good to include a cambelt swap, which as others as said, when you do this belt, other items are usually done as a matter of course. If you deffo had the cambelt done, well done you :) smithy
  15. Whilst decatting plays a major part in this theory of blowing turbo seals ( which i endorse IMO) it is not just doing this that is the sole cause. The Zeds system like most turbo cars relies on back pressure, the current exhaust system was designed with this in mind and the Catts are the biggest cause of back pressure. Now then, this is why also some do blow and some don't. It is not just a case of who's decatted, but what exhaust system is fitted to the car as well, some exhausts are far more free flowing that others, so please also bear that in mind. But yes, IMO the catts play the biggest part with the exhaust playing a small part. Mine went shortly after fitting an aftermarket exhaust system to an already decatted car ( 2 years previous) turbos were new as was the engine at the time, a whole new short engine from nissan 22,000 miles earlier  cheers smithy
  16. Dave, do you arrive on the 29th or is that when it starts and you arive a bit earlier, reason being is I leave the island on the morning of the 29th to travel over for japfest 2 and was hoping to take yer out for a spin :) cheers smithy

  20. Mate just offering apoligies for my part in a thread you started, which as I predicted a couple hours ago would go tits up and possibly closed, it was ! Again sorry for that bud :) smithy
  21. Oh Greg/Ryan grow up will yer for crying out loud. Yet again a perfectly normal thread is gonna end up being either moved/closed/deleated after your intervention  I and everyone else knows full well you are the voice of Ztech, so NO MY point was in relation to the odd few who do not respond on the traders forum, which gives the ones who do a bad name when threads like this are started. Now rather than responding to my post, repsond to the guy who started this, after all it was YOUR company he was wanting to contact. Finally, any points to want to raise about me or my past involvement with Ztech, do so with me either in person or email/pm and you'll find the differenece between *****cks and truth young man. divvvvvvvvvv smithy

  23. Personally IMO that kinda defeats the object of having their own personal forum. As above has shown, no responce causes threads like this and would make newbies think that most/all traders are the same............ So much simpler for the trader to put a statement at the start of their forum. smithy
  24. If it's just to take my spare CAS, just text me on 07624-490098 with yer name/address details and i'll stick it in the post for yer today on next day delivery by 1pm. Am not around much today see :) cheers smithy
  25. So any of you dudes in the Middlesex area able to lend Syed an ECU for 10mins ? am sure he'l sort yer out a cuppa or summit whilst yer waiting :) smithy
