  1. Ah jap spec, right forget that then :) you want me just chuck a nissan alt belt in the post to yer, a tenner and to just doubly confirm, it's a jap spec alt belt :D cheers smithy
  2. The New gates number for the ALT belt which is for UK spec only is 48366 and is the only belt that differs between jap and UK spec upto 94 god i hope this works this time :) smithy
  3. As Kirbz said mate :) The GTR brembos will now just plonk right on your hubs and you can then re sell the brackets to someone else to upgrade.. assuming you come across some GTR ones that is :) cheers smithy
  4. Glad to see you got the kit all good mate :) Just to reiterate something here, if you have a set of 33 calipers which look the same as series 2 Zed ones, then they are not GTR ones bud. 33 and 34 GTR calipers are both brembos, 33 being black and the 34 being gold, both will just bolt on our hubs with GTR sized discs no problem. R32 and pretty much all the other Skyline calipers like GTS etc will look similar to our Zed ones though. cheers smithy
  5. Agree mate, it really is very very nice :) a 94 as well and you'd probably get it for just over the 5K Smithy
  6. Both the same mate, the 34 has bigger mounting holes but thats about it, same calipers except for colour, same discs and pads. Oh and that's GTR ones only, any others ain't worth it. smithy
  7. Looks good bud :) Carls finally done mine and they get collected tomorow, i just hope they have turned out as per the vision in my head :D smithy
  8. Am no expert with the deep internals, but i'd say piston rings worn, maybe a techie could be more precise. smithy
  9. No probs mate, glad you like the kit :) cheers smithy
  10. Glad it was of help mate, just PMing you with another idea that may help you intime :) cheers smithy
  11. As Chris is showing "offline" give these boys a try mate as they are official greddy distributors, so must know their stuff ?? http://www.specialvehicle.co.uk/electircal/electronics.htm smithy

    1) In polished alloy on my website, coloured versions were discontinued by unorthodox a few months ago, so you would only get Red if someone had old stock. 2) hmm i think you might mean "pot" and not pump as you can't see the pump and the above set of pullies in No.1 include the P/S pump pulley. If it is the pot, then most just get it chromed, i will be doing stainles steel ones again very soon for NON hicas Zeds only. 3) well i do the Z shaped stainless steel tie bar, check out my instruction page for pics. I do have 1 battery cover from ebay which is a wafer thin sheet of stainless with greddy cut out of it, imo it's only fit for the bin and dangerous, but yer welcome to it for cheap as chips money. hope that all helps. cheers smithy
  13. So just to start at the begining mate so that you may not have to automatically blame the tubs. Was your drivers side the only 1 smoking before and now it's still smoking on same side only now with new turbo on ?? smithy
  14. Am marked down on the other thread as going, am there late Friday night to early Sunday morning, staying at the travel inn couple miles down the road. Me Mrs and Smithy junior also with me :) smithy
  15. Usually when i remember, which is most of the time :) I supply the link that Pete put up from Robo's website, though that is for fitting 350Z discs, the only difference is the thickness of the brackets. I did actually ask someone a short while ago to do a write up based on my kit, just waiting for him to do it and then it can be added to my "instruction" section, then we're good to go  thanks fellas :) smithy
  16. Doh you ........... the bolts packets are labeled so you don't do this.. I'll send you another bracket on monday morning, come see me after class you naughty boy!! smithy
  17. Please tell me you ain't put the wrong bolts in the bracket have yer fella ? The link Pete posted yesterday was spot on and very clear too......... Thanks guys for showing him the way :) cheers smithy
  18. Thanks Pete (turboz) you beat me to the link for him, doh too many things and not enough time :) cheers smithy
  19. Well certainly if 1 has gone down or playing up, unless the previous owner changed just 1, I would swap em both. Yer looking at an average of 15 years of use for these and not a great cost to replace either, an average 120 quid a pair for peace of mind based on their role :) cheers smithy
  20. Well Courtesy list them as different mate with the N/A being dearer. Wideband sensors are used when tuning cars and generally you won't find them as a stock item on a car, I beleive if in constant use they can burn out more quickly. You would normally drill another plug hole for a wideband sensor, fit the sensor and use it for tuning and then remove and fit a blank plug when not in use, so erm in short, stick with stock :D cheers smithy
  21. Erm fraid there is. Driftworks upper arms are both R32 and Z32 fitment. In the early days it was said r32 upper arms fitted the Z32, which they did pretty much, however the offset between the 2 cars is different and hence incorrect offset can cause the unit to collapse after rubbing inside the cradle. more info here in this link, click the pic to enlarge wording. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=612631&postcount=5 Also the ones i sell I state the load rating, the material used and they all use Koyo sealed bearings, all very important factors for a componet that is constantly under strees and you should know this info when buying adjustable upper arms from anyone. :) cheers smithy
  22. thats it mate, and if you want to go generics then it;s power sterring 4 rib 35" =890mm Alt 4 rib 39" = 990mm Now that should be you sorted and you know where to come if buy another Zed and do the same mod :D cheers smithy
