Posted October 19, 200618 yr Hi All, Need to get tyres all round and have always been a fan of Fulda but the seam to be hard to get hold of :( Has anyone got any recommendations for other makes? Cheers Vijay
October 19, 200618 yr Ive just asked a similar question http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=82335
October 19, 200618 yr Anything has to be better than Fulda! I had to settle for a set of these for the rear since I was broke at the time (extremos). It was like driving with no tyres on at all sometimes!!! Changed to Proxes and found the car actually accelerated without trying to spin the wheels... Blessing in disguise not being able to get hold of them IMO Vijay ;)
October 19, 200618 yr Author Well I found somone who has them.........................but won't be getting them!! lol As in Marks post, looks like it might be Falken's :)
October 19, 200618 yr falkens are the best tyres ive ever had on my zed, and ive had quite a few sets on the rear
October 19, 200618 yr I was running Eagle F1's on my zed and was happy with them, I had to replace them and chose a cheaper option of Verdestiens. The level of wet and dry performance went up loads, but I put that down to new cheap tyres will always be better than old expensive ones. I was wrong. The next time I changed the tyres (just the rears this time), I went back to F1's and the level of grip actually went down. I will recomend verdestiens tyres to anyone and they are good value too i.e much cheaper than other performance brands. And they lasted me 10k miles instead of the 6k I used to get out of other brands (rear tyres).
October 19, 200618 yr Having just mashed a set of bridgestone S02's in less than 9 months, i just went back to eagle F1's and love em :) . My other choice though was the new released Toyo T1R which wasn't in stock at the time. smithy
