What do you guys want at Billing next year?
Dunno about over there in UK, but certainly here in i.o.m you need a licence to sell raffle tickets where by something is either won or given in exchange :( that's do gooders for yer. Agree with everything in yer first post Mark. smithy:cool:

Dual POP question
Adam, as you have a mystery chip, i assume this is going to be checked and possibly reprogrammed for the twin pop set up ? if so i see no reason why you need to fit it, bear in mind JWT expect those who buy this kit to use their chip, see about re-doing your chip to suit the mod, after all this pipe is supposed to aid low power driveability somehow, but that beats me. smithy

Where's it gone ?
Ermmm, hold the boat here boys  yes 51x went off on one and he has said sorry, takes a better man to do this than rant and rave, HOWEVER he did state facts relating to his problem, the only thing he can't do leagally is state what he felt was the cause without proof. I'm all for deleating what might bring harm to the club through an outsider (who this trader is) by way of legal action, though i feel in this case a simple request to retract certain words that cannot be backed up, failure to do so results in deleating of that post, but certainly not the entite thread  This particular trader has come in for stick before whicout such action being taken and yet Jeff TT who is a member has come in for terrible slanderous and possibly libelous flamin and no such action was taken in such a short space of time. Sorry guys as the ole Shania twain song goes "that donna impress me much" (go on sing it :D ) smithy

Where's it gone ?
Hmm, well a number of guys here gave some good advice on the subject, shame it's obviously all "cloak an dagger stuff" no reflection on you Stu cos you don't have the power to deleate it, but i think not just i but WE would like to know why :( smithy

Where's it gone ?
Couple of days ago Stu posted a thread about how happy he was with SE's service, now it's gone walk about, no trace and searching brings up diddly squat, what happened there then. Anyone ?? smithy

Slam panel
Mike, if yer hoping to make em and sell for 30 quid good luck ;) Genuine carbon fibre ones and stainless steel ones cost more than that just to manufacture in bulk numbers after cost of materials and laser cutting, which ain't cheap. Cheap alloy sheeting,a hacksaw and a few hours labour would bring yer cost down, other than that, wishfull thinking i'm afraid. smithy  Oh and stainless are around 55 quid and most carbon fibre around 60 quid ish, depending on quality of material used.

Proactive for a change
Mark in order of the calender, Japfest April/May Billing July Trax september Santa pod jap meet end of each October, 1st time official this year with a regular meeting planned each year, i believe. There could also be regular north-south-east -west meets organised by the locals to that particular area and as often as they wish. I still believe a medium sized Marque is great to have at these meets, situated in between our cars and information along with subscription packs available to all, all it takes is about 8 members of the club attending to do an hour each in the marque promoting us and displaying what we are about. I had people at both billing and trax who approached me and were NOT members, so still plenty out there left to join. smithy

Proactive for a change
I'm a member of other Nissan forums and they have some good and bad ways of running things, my personal thoughts based on a mixture of these would be. 1 Duffers comments are correct 2 Anyone can look at the various sections on the forum, but only paid members can post a thread on them all bar one, the "main Zed related chat area" this can open to Guests to post as well. 3 Fees should be 20 quid first time round complete with sticker pack to help promote the club and for use on show days, then a tenner for renewals. 4 One area is dedicated to club funds showing what's spent where and when etc, so all members can see it, updated every month by the treasurer. 5 One moderator/organiser is responsible for arranging the meetings and club stands and tickets for the 4 main jap shows each year, doing this early enough saves grief over money and getting our stand area intime, plus probably more attendees. Just my thoughts smithy

Bovs who has what?
Seems most guys have the HKS, but there again the Blitz that were renowned to be the best havn't been available for over a year, until now that is :D :D smithy

Apexi AVC-R questions
For the Zed it is much the same as the other models they do, timing retarded, colder plugs, vacumm tubing bleeding from each of the turbo's, which you should remove really with the avc-r smithy

Fitting Zeemax Wing ???
For 80 squids, i'd crack on with it, second hand tailgate and glass, bang it in the garage out of the way and keep it, most body shops bond the wing on as well a few screws, then a tad of seam sealer on the edges, Zeemax is not common in this club as far as i know, so least you got something a little bit unique. well done i say ;) smithy

Too rich?
In that case Nige, what i got and what Macca's getting means diddly squat for you due to the ECU's closed loop system, what we have both got and does the trick is the HKS Super AFR whereby we can adjust the mixture at Idle, i assume there is ways within the engine of doing the same, maybe the Likes of Duffers is the man to ask or Jeff TT. smithy
-
Too rich?
Yep they do it all themselves, no specialist help needed and finally usually they have a serious of lights, the instructions tell you excatly what colour lights mean what, though in most cases green is the end colour for richness, i have 3 green lights, first one being just about right, second running a tad rich and 3rd very rich, i tend to make sure it's always on the second light when on boost. smithy

Too rich?
Vijay, piece of piss to wire up, though i did ask Ian at Hiteq which wires to connect too :D mines positioned just below the left hand cluster (wipers) can just see it out the corner of me eye cos really once you use it to set things up, that's it really. Reason the lights on many seem to dance around is simply our ECU being closed loop to around 2.5k revs, all mannner of lights come on, on boost though, just 2 nice steady green ones ;) smithy

Too rich?
Nige, if you don't want to go down the road of having another gauge, i use a gadget from Lumention, Demon tweeks advertise em. It's a very small black box about 6cmx2.5cm and has a series of 9 small LED lights, Red, orange and of course Green, simply sticks to the underside of the dash or where ever and easy to wire in, think it cost about 60 quid, been in for nearly 2 years now and works a treat, infact ever since me last rebuild :D cheers smithy

Anyone got one of these Gadgets
