Induction Kit Advice
Your SE kit is actualy SE's version of an old HKS twin filter kit from years ago, it never sold all that well due to the high cost of it. Keep it and bin the filters they are not the best, just remove one and measure the opening, hopefully it's 76-80mm which is a very common size to replace and possibly use a universal apexi on each bank. It's also the ideal time to remove the unit from the MAF and re-fit using some gasket sealer as from what i've seen the MAF plate side on some is uneven leading to air leaks. Principal is good, i also have the same thing but in stainless pipework and twin apexis on it and works well. cheers smithy

Cam Belt Covers
Dave, i can send yer a spare pair of covers today if you let me know by 2.30pm, take these to any local body shop and ask em to prep and spray in the colour you want, that gives em a week to do, then all you do is fit the new ones when doing yer work and post the ones you took off back to me, just stick a fiver in for postage. They are a bit of a pain to remove anyhow and you have to drain the water out, so once is enough :) smithy

Was subscribed now I am not??
Jeff, i think from reading what hermans put there the operative word being "re" as for the subscribed bit, i think and it's only a guess at that, previously you were down as a registered member, before that a trader, before that down as a registered member again, i assume when you paid you signed up for "re-subscription" as opposed to "subscription" which would have been the case, i guess ? hence why you wern't down as previously subscribed. Splitting hairs really when your so well known and if extra dosh was needed could have just asked, i guess it's an extra fiver ? Like i said mate, am just guessing here but hopefully someone in the know will explain to yer. Now over to the men in the know ;) smithy

What would you do with this 300 ???????
I'd drop baggins a shout and see if you can reach a mutual arrangement. He can do an engine swap on an exchange basis which would save time and for you not paying him upfront he has a share of the cars selling profit which you both try to sell at a more realistic price ??? just a thought mate as it seems a real shame to send this to Zed heaven just yet ;) cheers smithy

interesting thread on injectors
Without reading yer thread Paul ( lack of time) i do know that around May time this year when Nismo sent out a very large batch of the 555's for the pre 94 models, it was discovered that they were actually 615cc, this came about when a couple of Zed tuners in the US were discovering the cars were not running right after fitting their 555 chips in them, a load were tested and found be of a higher CC. It is only sussposed to be the batch that were sold back then ( a couple of thousand) and apparantly no more were made that way. I only know cos my supplier of the 555's contacted me to advise my latest customers who i had sold too. cheers smithy

a-pillar pods
Me and Luke designed these many years ago (the Zed specific A-pillar trims that are sold now by Jason/chris/luke) am ware of no differences between swb and TT versions, with over 500 of these sold worldwide now, weird that no one with a SWB has came back with this ? dunno if that's luck of the draw or what  Jaffa double check that the bottom of the trim goes down slightly behind the dash before offering it up to the top trim on targa roof. cheers smithy

300zx fuel fault?
Nissan will no doubt just plug in a conzult which should hopefully bring up the problem, but if it's intermittent it may not. If and once they diagnose it for you just get a quote for repair 1st and then check on the board here for replacement or repair rather than having them do the job right away. PTU is very easy to replace and so is the CAS which allows the injectors to work, which it could also be ( the opposite side of the ptu, alloy round thing) Let us know how you get on, but expect parts to be pricey new from nissan, but quite cheap from the breakers on this board. :) cheers smithy
