  1. Ditto, i sold Autometer gauges for the 1st 2 years i started selling on this board, the cash they are great value for money with not a single issue in the ones i sold, so all in all a decent gauge. Greddy are also really good as are Apexi, downside is cost which can be quite high though quality is awesome. Chrisp could have swore your gauge that was inaccuracte was an ACTecnic one ? cheers smithy
  2. yes mate, early last week i think. cheers smithy
  3. You must be forgetting who yer buy all yer bits from mate :) Danny sells those fella. Oh and as Greg says, bit dodgy bending the tube itself. cheers smithy
  4. All they are is stock ones polished mate, you can easily do that yerself if you wanted too, or have em done professionally or better still chromed. Had mine chromed about 4 years ago and i think it cost me 60 quid the pair, whereas polished will either need a coating on to stop oxidising or constantly being re-buffed, which ain't all that easy being where they go.. hth smithy
  5. Had thought about drilling, but all that crud possibly getting inside didn't inspire me with confidence.. thanks the options fellas, we're still trying so anymore let me know please, this is all that's stoping me finishing a few jobs off. cheers smithy
  6. Guys anyone got any ideas on how to get the gearbox plug off that just don't wanna come out :nono: it's been heated up, a 2ft extension bar on it and still no budge, the bleedin square plug inside the plug itself is starting to wear away now :headvswal cheers smithy
  7. Very nice pods Luke, can't wait to see a few guys with em fitted and loads of gauges. btw you seem to have performed somewhat of a miracle, this post is duplicated with identicle timings in your own traders area :p cheers smithy
  8. Here yer go, gotta be the most popular round here :) http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/300zx_sgp_racing_underdrive_pulley.htm The unorthadox ones are a little more expensive cheers smithy
  9. I would estimate 30 quid mate and that's by parcel force international land service which is real slowwwww, airmail is upto 2 kg's ( i think) and would cost about another 15 quid. Customs decleartion form required by you ( from post office) hth smithy
  10. If you have fitted them in place of the stock re-circs, you have blocked of the 2nd tee off which dumps the air back into the system ? if not then they are going to act as re-circs again and not make a noise. Take a pic of the bovs fitted so we can a more definate answer. cheers smithy
  11. Vinz, if your getting Veilside mirrors they should come with a connector block already fitted, this block is designed for jap spec cars and simply plugs into your existing block connector from your original mirrors which is behind the door trim, if you are UK spec, you sinply cut off one corner of the veilside block so it fits into your one. cheers smithy
  12. Trust me mate, i sell pads on the sxoc forum and they are the same part no. for both s14 models and the zed, the s14 REAR pads only are different to ours. Doh Jeff you beat me to it bud :) cheers smithy
  13. Z32 pads are the same as BOTH models of the 200sx S14 models. cheers smithy
  14. 1st one of the day  smithy
  15. For many of the general hoses and vac lines, i usually carry around 300 metres of 4mm,6mm and 8mm hosing in the usual red or blue with other colours to order. Silicone boost hoses are not a problem with a usual 10 day wait and at around 150 the set of 4 or Rad hoses if you like, though costing more, the ole stainless look better, will never suck in and have any type or amount of tee offs you want added. Feel free to get intouch for owt yer need. cheers smithy
  16. Take em off mate ;) flat battery on the car or in the key fob is not a prob. PM me if you want and i'll let yer know what methods am doing in case of flat batteries. cheers smithy
  17. I only just priced these up in Skyline GTR size for meself so Zed size would be cheaper but the golds were £235 a pair and the 2 piece anodised reds were £570 a pair, i would expect Zed sized ones if you stayed that size to be £70 and £100 cheaper respectively. smithy
  18. I only deal in the porterfields as you know and with sooooo many peeps here using em, they are good ;) just scroll down the list on the link http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/300zx_products.htm smithy
  19. Yep the ole Porterfields, think you'll find em just below http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/z32_carbon_kevlar_pads.htm Some of the traders are working on a big brake kit at the mo and i think Danny's at DTA should be good value for money. Personally i like the DBA's Which of course you can get in either Zed size or Skyline GTR. smithy
  20. RPS Sport series as used by many guys here, £325 for the kit delivered Max series for higher hp soops is £390 delivered. Specs and info on my site http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/300zx_clutches_flywheel.htm though prices advertised there are for zeds. hope that helps smithy
  21. Thank fook for that, cheers mate. Will send yer a PM 1st laterz with details to see if you fancy a short drive, maybe of use to others if it pans out :) cheers smithy
  22. Cheers Pete, but i looked at the manual on Andyp's site and i can't find this area under the cowling anywhere on it  cheers smithy
  23. Thanks Mike, i know from my old silvia days that when this happend there is a knuckle type joint which literally falls apart as it was worn and a new one is kinda forced on, it is where the 2 underarms are linked together. cheers smithy
  24. Anyone know where there is an exploded veiw/pic of the wiper assembly arms that are under the cowling ? with part no's would be even better  Some kinda knuckle joint has just fell apart and the wipers don't move, but one of the arms underneath does :( cheers smithy
  25. C'mon guys must be someone who lives nearby this area, petrol costs will be given. cheers smithy
