  1. Don't suspose any fellow zedders live in or nearby to Northfleet in Kent do they ? Am after a price on a job on the Zed and if someone nearby this area could pop along for a quote for me, i'd be very greatful :) :) cheers smithy
  2. Looks well mate, yer really should have fitted some nice Cam cover bolts though to finish it off ;) http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/300zx_turbo.htm smithy
  3. With brake discs i would use any machine shop type place, deffo not meself.... smithy
  4. Have you asked in the S15 section of sxoc mark, also in wh smiths is a mag called carparts mart for 99p, this lists all cars getting broken and parts suppliers, including s15 models. cheers smithy
  5. Yep they fit with some modding, not much though many s13 guys have done it and 16's minimum. smithy
  6. Uprated I/C's Underdrive pulley 555's If the clutch starts going, then uprate and fit lite weight flywheel at same time. This should see some decent power :D Need any help with parts, drop me a line. smithy
  7. Irrelevant of who done the de-catt and what ones were used, once you do this there is a risk of rear piston ring failure in the turbo, it's happened on zeds within 100 miles and some it's still not done it years down the line. I sold turbo's for around 4 years and 90% were after someone de-catted. It's entirely dependant on the wear and age of the existing tubs and the engines breathing system, in my opinion mate, it's the tubs :( soz smithy
  8. Braided steel areotek mate, google search brings it up. smithy
  9. Can't really seen owt there mate, too dark and too small, this link shows matts car and you can just see the vac poking out from plenum, under his strut brace and to connection at side of battery. http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/gallery_matt.htm and here's mine which is a bit clearer http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/300zx_fuel_kit.htm Don't look at Tonyc's car, his is different. hth smithy
  10. Sorry guys couldn't remeber which one was interested in the LM-1 kits, here's a link to their latest updates just released, which maybe or may not be helpful. http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/resources/news7.php cheers smithy
  11. You have re-connected the vac line that was previously on your metal hard line across front corner of plenum ? smithy
  12. Chris the thread that appeared last nigt regarding your company was due to customer service/time delay. It was pointed out to the author of this thread of a personal issue in your life which may have resulted in the problems he was having with his transaction, with that in mind he asked for it to be moved out view until confirmed ( a decent thing to do) i believe it was later confirrmed of your personal problems and if the post cannot be found, it is i guess because it's been removed to save any embarrasment or ill feeling. So in short protecting your reputation. Am aware of no other problems regarding your company. So i imagine that's the end of it, good luck and best wishes for the future. smithy
  13. Noticed legrath and Stu left the old tweed on the door cards, a bit more difficult to do with alcantara as the tweed fabric shows through with it's rough finish and any dirt in the tweed will eventually come through the new alcantara as well. I've just managed to strip one door card of tweed and almost me second one, it's VERY time consuming :( smithy
  14. Theres an easier one in small fuse box infront of brake servo, saves removing any panels and getting on yer hands an knees :) smithy
  15. Also instructions in my traders section mate, erm under Instructions ;) cheers smithy
  16. If it's the one with twin apexi's as above in Matts (sgtc) pic, then all pipework and connectors etc from me and the 2 apexi's from Danny at DTA. Check out Our traders sections for more details and prices. cheers smithy

Travellodge right outside the show ground and a travel inn ( a bit nicer) couple miles up the road. Am there Fri/sat/sun cheers smithy
  18. Mark on the top water inlet pipe going into block is 2 sensors, check the left hand one is okay, both sensor and connector as this can make her run rich. Timing can be done by using a HT lead looped in the no.1 cylinder coil pack and turning the crank angle sensor very slightly if it's not 15 degrees. Rc are just around the corner from DP and have worked on quite a few Zeds, i know DP have asked Hi-teq in the past for advice when working on the odd Zed. cheers smithy
  19. Mark it's not so much the location of the stock sender that is naff on the zed, it's more the actual stock gauge it self. Am putting my apexi water temp sender in place of the stock one on the top inlet pipe in next couple of weeks, you can if you wish also use the same stock wiring and just dis-connect behind interior pods and connect your apexi wires there, if you wanted too, seen a few of the Aussie guys do it that way. HTH smithy
  20. Ditto with Mac on both counts :p smithy
  21. no.4 is a brake servo hose and yep to corner of balance bar smithy
  22. Claim online is real easy mate and think it costs around 30 quid which goes onto the amount being claimed. Judgement is automatically passed if he fails to respond and they will if pushed send the bailiffs round, worth a try mate. I've used this myself a couple of times. smithy
  23. Don't do stock clutch kits mate, however i do sell i reckon the most commonly used one on here the RPS series, feels just like stock, BUT will should you or the next owner decide in the future to do some mods, happily take a few extra BHP that you can throw at her. Costs around £250 with a usual fitting cost of around 200 quid depending where you go. HTH cheers smithy
  24. Ah that explains it, i ran a centre force uptil 4 years ago, soon burned it out :( . RPS Max series is the way  cheers smithy
  25. what make/type you got fella that was rated to 600bhp ? smithy
