  3. Never mind playing the game mate, get yerself over here for the real thing, only 4 weeks to go :nana2: and that's includes Mad sunday :hyper: cheers smithy
  4. March 2001 and it was here i found me Zed in the 1st place :p cheers smithy
  5. Flippin eck mate, a carbon carbon unit, you must be kicking out some power are yer or rich :) Got yer order btw cheers smithy
  6. As far as i know mate, yer meant to use a P/S pump from a N/A and yep the redundant outlet on P/S pot can just be capped or weld a small disc over the outlet. btw, how easy was it removing the pump ? smithy
  7. I done the front hoses as well mate yeah, assuming i didn't knock the TPS i'll reset ECU tomorow morning mate. cheers Eric Smithy
  8. Done the PCV and hose swap last week along with a few other non engine related jobs. Car seems to run really well and smooth, better in fact, however the revs have now jumped up when cold to just under 2000 revs and when warm to just over 1000 revs, so do i just alter the adjustment screw by passenger TB when engine is warm and will this dramtically drop the revs for me when cold.? ideas as always most welcome fellas. cheers smithy
  9. Cheers fellas, new lever and universal kit ordered. I assume you just yank the old one off ? cheers smithy
  10. Gotta say when it comes to these type of products on the car, you NEED to know what brand they are, the likes of SPL, STILLEN and Powertrix by far seem about the best around, don't take chances with safety. smithy
  11. Well i can tell yer mate, for the Alt belt on a UK car it should be48366-1013 that is the correct size and doesn't squeel, so i guess yours maybe a little too tight for it, if that's the case i would assume it will snap. The other belt as i say is a fraction smaller than all those using an SGP pulley kit, so just bare it in mind fella. hth cheers smithy
  12. Looking at your part numbers mate, i'd say your air con one was a little too short, maybe that's why it's squeeling, what made you go for those belts in particular ? and just curious, what brand of pulley you got. Also for yer alternator it depends if you are jap or UK spec as the UK spec uses a slightly longer alt belt and different to the numbers below. Gates PN# '90-'93 TT: 040350 '94+ TT & all NAs: 030350 Power Steering Gates PN# 040390 Alternator Gates PN# 040365 A/C cheers smithy
  13. Check the link below from the SXOC, dodgy or what  http://www.sxoc.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=146763 cheers smithy
  14. For those that have shown great interest in the indiglow stainless side sills/kick plates, we're almost there :nana2: Just waiting on a load of invertors to arrive with Vijay who's sorting the indiglow side of things on this project and we're off :hyper: These are expected in approx 2 weeks time, so a GB will start then so as to make sure we have enough for those who take part. Expected price is £100 a pair posted with a choice of red/blue or green indiglow lighting and an option of no indiglow or the 300zx logo lasered on the surface in the same style as my other laser work. Plain sills will be approx £75 Considering the alloy ones that used to be available in the US from Japan at around $360, it's a bargain ;) Hope you like the pics to keep you going, more clearer nite time ones will be available at the time of the GB so show you the options. These replace your existing plastic covers and come with new stainless screws as well, oh and fitting/wiring instructions. cheers smithy
  15. DBA are meant to be pretty good with quite a few skyline guys using em. smithy

  20. save me replying to yer PM fella, the P/S on an N/A is a 3 ribbed belt approx 35" long, numerous numbers depending upon brand are 11950-32F10 and 030350 this is also the same belt as used in the TT AFTER 1994. See yer sorted now though. It's usually the Alt i forget to swap over between the jap and uk cars :headvswal cheers smithy
  21. Would leave Monday morning and with you by noon Tuesday fella. cheers smithy
  22. Unfortunately the vast majority of courier firms now pay your fees for you and have the nerve to charge you a fee for doing so  If for some reason you don't pay it you end up with a reminder and then a solicitors letter ( more cash) and they have been known to hold onto goods once they check their database of unpaid fees from customers. It is when the invoice arrives about 2 months after the goods that really pisses you off cos you think ah great got away with it but sadly :nono: The perils of importing :hurl: cheers smithy
  23. Thanks fellas, 1st light tomorow i'll check behind the vent. Just when i thought i was on a roll getting all the other bits done too.Quite chuffed at me own handy work ;) Cheers smithy
  24. Been quite chuffed i managed to re-trim all me interior trims with Alcantara UNTIL i get to the very last piece, the small bit of trim between end of dash and glovebox, it's only small, anyone know how the hell it comes off ? all i can see is 2 screws hidden behind the glovebox and dash main frame, must be an easier way of getting it off, anyone ?? cheers smithy
  25. Link didn't work mate, however from the title rear pads ? if so they certainly will batman :p cheers smithy
