You trying to set the record for the most attempts at spelling the word "received" mate    You got me address with paypal, but i'll happily PM it to yer :) smithy
  2. Did yer have the fitters do the wheel alignment Mark or someone else after you got yer car back ? cheers smithy
  3. One of the main gripes with a Zed has gotta be poor brakes, so rather than buying general Motor factor discs, try some nice DBA's mate, biggest selling disc in Aus for the skyline and Zed guys and i have em on my rears too :) Prices start from £210 delivered for slotted version, front and rears are same price. drop me a line if interested. cheers smithy
  4. The MAIN differences between different makes of tension rods is the bearings, they should be a sealed unit and not just shielded like some are. Ebay ones are imo well dodgy, nismo yes always make good products however Courtesy do not list them as Nismo ( that i can see) or state they are sealed bearings which is the main selling point of tension rods. FYI SPL tension rods like all their suspension products are regarded in the US as pretty much the best on the market, oh and Smithy normally supplies them :p cheers smithy
  5. See what happens you get the right man on the job mate :) glad yer all sorted anyways, with this problem at least :) cheers smithy
  6. Agree, luverly colour, tbh though i don't like the grills being sprayed the same colour, much prefer them silver and it kinda breaks the colour up at the front. As for the towing eye, i had the same problem with my wings west, just had the garage knock the edge of it inwards so the grill would fit flush and pray i never needed to have the car towed. Obviously that did happen, just knocked the mesh out, got towed and but a new mesh section in to replace the old, pretty cheap on ebay. cheers smithy
  7. Sure, just send the airline tickets in the post to me and i'll be there with me hand out :p smithy

As Jeff says mate, i had the same set up when i bought my Zed many moons ago from a guy who always used SE. On the plus side me car was quick and on the downside, me rings were mashed within a year of ownership  and that was on a brand new 6.5k short engine from Nissan with only 25,000 miles on the clock  whip it out and stick an electronic boost controller in instead. smithy
  9. Hmm, my thoughts too............................................................. smithy
  10. Pretty certain neither of us do fella, however braided steel aerotek do, 01386-849060 smithy
  11. Yep i remember now mate, nope it wern't me that sorted his injectors out though i was going to if he didn't get sorted. If you do a search on twinturbo.net you'll see what i mean about the injectors lately have been different flow rates so it's deffo worth checking them out and the chip at same time, both obviously JD can do for yer quite easily. Only other thinh that cause overfuelling that i know is the ECU temp sensor, however i know in my case it overfuelled so much it wouldn't start  So it all kinda points to the 2 things above mate. ggod luck smithy
  12. When and who from did yer buy the 555's mate ? reason i ask is i know there was a large batch of nismo's that went out that were infact greater than 555cc and when guys in the US were having problems with their cars this was found, though in the past couple of months, a few customers of Ash's in the US have susposedly genuine nismo's which are less than 555's. I really think you need to get yer car down to the "harry ramsden" of chips, John dixon and pay him to check it out once and for all mate. smithy
  13. Got mine done at Jeff's and yer get pics of before, during and after so your getting proof pertty much of what's been done and the condition before. All old parts are left there for you to look at as well if you like http://www.zedworld.co.uk/wizzf.html cheers smithy
  14. http://www.innate.com also do the same stuff and supply small samples. I've some en-route to me now for a bit of a project :) smithy
  15. Luverly mate, how come it's got isle of man registration plates on it ? smithy
  16. Got front wheel bearing to do shortly, anyone tell me roughly how long this should take please ? oh and owt else worth doing whilst greasy mits are working down there. cheers smithy
  17. I used to sell brake lines uptil about 2 years ago and i never experienced any feedback on differences from model to model at any time and i certainly never gave my supplier details of Jap or UK spec etc. There has often been negative feedback on the goodridge ones reference their fitting, though that may be okay now. The guy on ebay ASSUMES that that the lines don't fit cos he's Jap spec but doesn't confirm this by saying what ones he has now bought that fit to confirm this. Chris and Danny as far as i know sell brake lines on here and am sure thay can confirm either way. cheers smithy

  21. No idea about courtesy mate as i never deal with them, but i do deal all the time with the other 2, so i can only say on those really. A search on twinturbo.net is usually pretty good on which is best suspension parts out there, cos what we've done, they have done a 1000 times more :) Just 1 note on suspension though, like brakes, skimp or get rubbish and it's the difference between crashing or not sometimes  read a bad thread on sxoc about rear camber arms cracking that guys had bought of ebay which looked identicle to a well know brand, but ain't the real deal! cheers smithy
  22. Trust me mate, as i sell both powertrix and spl when asked, they are NOT the same, appearances may look so, but they ain't an they don't use the same supllier/manufacturer. I went with the ones i got after speaking with people who fit these on a regular basis in the US. cheers smithy
  23. I got SPL and very happy with them, have also supplied these to a few guys who seemed chuffed :) smithy

If the cover is made of pressed steel, cost new is just under a grand + vat if alloy cover then just over a grand + vat, new that is :) Any yep, renowned to be very good, though not as good as an RPS twinplate :p smithy
  25. Above the alternator tends to suggest dripping down behind the backing plate where the cam seals are, also try checking a cam wheel for any play, i assume he stripped down to this area when the head was taken off? smithy
