  1. Know how yer feel mate :( doing mine right after xmas. TT.net has a good write up on injector swap which covers everything you'll need to do and lists all the parts you'll need as well. Good luck ;) smithy

Here yer go fella http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/z32_carbon_kevlar_pads.htm cheers smithy
  3. Bloomin eck mate  hope what evers doing yer nut in stops before others catch the bug :( All the best smithy
  4. Just for the "trick" value really. Had em on mine for a while now and you get a few strange looks when you hit the remote and the door pops open for yer ;) got push buttons under the wing mirrors as well and a hidden button in case of battery failure in the remote. smithy
  5. Don't forget little ole me in sunny isle of man ;) am prone to popping over on the ferry every month or so :hyper: smithy
  6. well funny you should say that, Jezza is over a lot now he has property here and if he would ever stand still long enough I'd be trying to get him out in a real car :D I've raced that section many times, no idea of times though as the actual road that gets closed off is over 8 miles long! If chunk ever decides to organise a trackday/meet over here I could probably get the road closed AND try and catch Jezza to join in the fun, oh and of course Duke video are based here so they could Video the whole event :hyper: smithy
  7. Though it didn't quite go like that at the time, they did get that road closed along with 2 others they used. The montain circuit road is the one most visting car clubs get when they come over, hmm worth a thought ;) Oh and and the end of nite pic having tea, was in Clarksons lighthouse that he's bought over here. smithy
  8. Pretty good list there fellla and all decent branded stuff too ;) Dunno how much the HKS Suspension is but Tein are highly recommended by most. Brakes, some decent discs and pads with stainless braided lines and new fluid will see a massive improvement, if you more substantial stopping power then bigger discs is a good upgrade. Search using the search facility on the forum for old posts on people experiences. If yer want prices on SPL suspension goodies, DBA discs, carbon kevlar pads, drop me a line ;) cheers smithy
  9. All the best mate, mines now 7 weeks old, so i know how yer feeling ;) cheers smithy
  10. and thats IF he dont get hit for any duties or handling costs  smithy
  11. If it lists UPTO 89 tends to suggest it's the Z31 and not Z32, Z32's came out mid-late 89. Mike feeney in the traders section can supply you the correct one quite quickly. cheers smithy
  12. You said it was a blitz "Style" and being ebay, I assume it is not a true blitz ? paste the ebay link so we can see. smithy

Don't be dis-heartend mate, your efforts are much appreciated by many ;) I guess the others are just to shy to post up :D Can't wait for the Z32 only meet :hyper: cheers smithy
  14. Not 100% sure mate, though from memory i think they are, if not as long as the connecting plug and couple inches of loom came with it, would make life easier. If the s14 boys can wapp these babies in and their maf is bog all like it, am we can :D cheers smithy
  15. A bit dearer but well worth it, DBA discs and porterfeild pads all the way mate ;) use the search function and see what yer come up with. cheers smithy
  16. It's a larger diameter mate, the size/volume of a maf determins how much it will flow before it starts to max out, on our cars it's the high 400's, this maf on ebay being larger will happliy go well over the 500 bhp mark ;) cheers smithy
  17. For anyone who thinks they are almost maxing the maf out now or in the future, you'll be hard pressed to max this one out and pretty easy to fit too ;) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-AFM-Q45-300zx-RB20DET-SR20DET-S13-S14-S15_W0QQitemZ8011681792QQcategoryZ72205QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem smithy
  18. http://www.streetracingmania.com/drifting4france/forum/viewtopic.php?t=77 some nice bits on it though ;) smithy Okay scrap that, just noticed chunks post in the other section, dohhhhhhhhhhh :o
  19. Fraid i don't know the answer mate, however if you contact Ash direct then he will, seeing as he designed it an all ;) you can get him on this addy below. AGPowers@bellsouth.net Just noticed your other question on the doolz and it's ability to suck water in. Fraid if theres no room to cut a short section of pipe so as to move the maf back up a bit, then only a splash gaurd of sorts is gonna work, though this defeats some objects it was desigend for. It's always bugged me that his kits move the maf further down simply cos as you know the air flow is electrically "pulsed" and moving the maf down weakens this signal slightly, in fact studying some jap tuners all over the world, they actually look to move the maf backwards in the air tract to increase this pulse rate. Ash has been selling his NEW style doolz for a while, looks impressive and they are fitted with bias plates in the pipework much like TB butterflies, he's gained some very impressive amounts of extra power too ;) Good luck mate. cheers smithy
  20. According to a few of his ex customers he's been working in a small garage just of the A12 and a number of peeps managed to catch up with him yesterday, waiting to here how they got on  smithy
  21. Basically many of the internals will happily get you upto around 400bhp without much problem, however they would serously struggle at the higher end and certainly on 500bhp, so the cost to replace some of these parts with say Jun or Tomei for example can be very expensive, parts alone ain't cheap and then theres the labour. I would also expect to the average driver not a massive difference in the feel between the mid 400's and over 500's in power. Unless you got serious amounts of money aim a little lower, have the car mapped by the likes of JD and i think you'll be very happy with what yer get :D cheers smithy
  22. Here yer go, all details here. http://www.ttzd.com/tech/twinpoptech.html now just make sure yer use some decent air filters, apexis would be good ;) smithy
  23. something like this ? Block oil passages cleaned Block redecked Block water passage bored out for more water to back cylinders Block Bored and Honed using a Torque Plate Crank balanced and welded on center weight Crank journals polished Shot peened stock rods ARP Rod Studs New Rod and Main bearings(Ceramic Coated) Ceramic Coated Weisco Pistons .040 over Heads oil passages cleaned Heads redecked Ported exhaust and intake runners 5 angle valve job Nismo 740cc injectors more than capable New Valve stem seals New Nissan Head gaskets New Nissan Oil Pump New Nissan Cam seals New Timing Belt New Nissan Timing Belt Tensioner RPS Carbon carbon clutch ;) Turbos options could be Greddy TD05H-16G's, JWT 700BB's or HKS GT2530's and as 500 will max out the maf, yes the JWT type twin intake or upgrade the maf. Cost wise between a healthy mid 400 and 500+ is quite large  Numerous options for the brakes
  24. That's the ticket mate, in a long round about way that's what i was saying ;) would love to have had before and after figures though just to see how much better the extra cone benefitted. Oh morning :D smithy
  25. dohh, jaffa typed quicker than me :D smithy
