MAF voltage at WOT for doolz / JWT?

Does anyone with either the doolz or the JWT twin pop setup know what their MAF voltage reading is at WOT?

I don't think the workshop manual provides any information apart from the voltage at idle.

Cheers

Fraid i don't know the answer mate, however if you contact Ash direct then he will, seeing as he designed it an all ;) you can get him on this addy below.

Just noticed your other question on the doolz and it's ability to suck water in.

Fraid if theres no room to cut a short section of pipe so as to move the maf back up a bit, then only a splash gaurd of sorts is gonna work, though this defeats some objects it was desigend for. It's always bugged me that his kits move the maf further down simply cos as you know the air flow is electrically "pulsed" and moving the maf down weakens this signal slightly, in fact studying some jap tuners all over the world, they actually look to move the maf backwards in the air tract to increase this pulse rate.

Ash has been selling his NEW style doolz for a while, looks impressive and they are fitted with bias plates in the pipework much like TB butterflies, he's gained some very impressive amounts of extra power too ;)

Good luck mate.

cheers

Thanks for your comments smithy.

I'm currently running the doolz with my JWT chip :nelson: and am datalogging using conzult.

With regard to the filters, will the Apexi filters fit beter as thay are smaller?

Wow ! Almost the same question I posted yesterday.

I have the DoolZ (dual KN filters / single MAF) and I read ~3 volts at WOT.

And you ? :hyper:

according to data I collected from several rolling road sessions from different cars it looks like 3.8V equals approx. 440 RWHP for a dual intake - single maf config.

3.0 V equals approx 200-210 rwhp.

Though it greatly depends on factors like turbo and intercooler efficiency.

So 3.6v isn't too bad a reading at 1bar boost setting ;)

Steve

Here are informations I have found :

3.6 volts = ~ 21000 VQ data.

Thus with dual pop you have 2 x 3.6 volts ~ 42000 VQ data : this is equal to 4.5 volts on single pop.
