Thanks for the offer chunk, but on a tight schedule and the M1 is abit out of the way, thanks anyways. smithy
  4. Yeah tell me about it, i thought that soon as me mate said, "oh we could do with a quick butchers at a zed for 5mins" i knew you were away, fingers crossed someone en-route from yours up to cambridge has got a spare 5 mins. Oh to own a Zed, lol smithy
  5. What makes yer think he's joking ;) well am on for the 15th of this month it seems, i've booked the cake and champagne think i'll hold on the party poppers for now though ;) smithy

  7. Oi shrimpy get back in line am way before you :p :p smithy
  8. Mike i really would like you or Mac as you probably know em all, mail me the addys, i don't want to start airing my moans on the open forum in seeking a straight answer regarding traders unless i have too. Jason will mail you shortly. smithy
  9. Thanks mike, however for what i want to say the PM box is too small, i'e it has a limit on the words and secondly i want to contact ALL of the commitee collectively, not just the 1 or 2 who deal with my subject. feel free then to pm or email me their addys. smithy
  10. Would you all be so kind as to send me an email with the subject "MOD" so that i can email you ALL collectively please. smithy@manx.net smithy
  11. Good lad you :) :) cheers smithy
  12. Am sorry fella, we're gonna go round round on this, you been supplied a hard pipe kit that has been supplied worldwide and am talking now in excess off 300 kits,no problems reported, same applies to the rad kit except 2 customers tried to fit it upside down, the headlight covers, 50 sets no problems once i explain what to do with the bonnet stay, the centre slam panel 150 sold worldwide only 4 reported having a problem, 2 i explained what to do and the other 2 made a slight mod themsleves as with this it's dependant on other factors on the car, so in short after offering to deal with you DIRECT from day one by phone/email have someone with more knoweledge help you out with fitting, am really miffed at this post ! The reply from davido140 is a prime example why i feel this way. As i stated above i actually watched a father and son fit the very same products on a grass area at billing last week and many others did similar which kinda reinstalled my faith in my own products, notwithstanding that, these are CUSTOM and am happy that mistakes can happen, even in this case, i've taken into account your dyslexia you told me about and still open minded on this. So until i can see in person what you have or have not done, ffs will you stop this crap cos am starting to lose patience and the offer of sorting your problem is getting les less and further more, if your problems turn out to be self inflicted i will be very upset at the concern imposed on my potential new customers. Now leave it at that, you started publically once already, we really don't need it again. smithy
  13. I hope yer do :p if not universal gasket cut to shape in a couple of mins ? S14 gasket from nissan ? smithy
  14. Unfortunately what he's failed to mention above is HOW the other parts have broke whilst trying to fit items possibly INCORRECTLY. At billing last week numerous "bling" parts were fitted there and then on the grass in minutes, i watched 1 guy fit an entire engine load of stuff, all of the above and more in an hour using nothing more than a screw driver and a multi racthet :p So don't be put off by that post if yer a common sense sensible head on yer ;) do a search on the forum to double check. smithy
  15. No probs mate, anyone else got a Koyo rad fitted and fancies trying a top cover for it for me ? takes literally 5 mins to fit and a discount is offered for yer help should you wish to purchase one. cheers smithy
  16. Was a fair bit of interest in the howe rad bracket/cover i had at billing same as Coz's. I was talking to someone with a koyo rad who offered to be a guinea pig for me before i go into mass production ( of about 10 :D ) If yer here please get intouch so i can post this one out soon as poss as any alterations needed could be done and sales completed intime for Trax. cheers smithy
  17. Noticed a few clubs had poles with their club logo on a flag, not real high or anything but certainly stood out enough to show peeps who they were and where they were more importantly. Gave a certain amount of well organised professionlism ? smithy
  18. Nah mate as paulc says that was quite some time ago and was simply incorrect positioned outlet,Only little niggly problem is the fact they are longer pipes that series 1 cars and yer existing down pipe needs shortening, really simple to do though, SpeedyS has the GD ones. Iam trying out another set at the mo myself, well i say trying, i will be once my cars up and running which duffers says is Aug 15th, can send you a pic if you like. smithy
  19. No probs mate, i posted up before billing where i was located with my stand, but got to billing and was told i was going to be somewhere else, away from where i suggested  there were a few who didn't find me ! cheers smithy
  20. Brill ideas mark, especially the notice board listing the what's what and when it's happening. Running a trade stand at billing can be quite busy and i popped over at least 6 times to see certain things happening and they seemed to be running late, would have been nice to be around whilst my donated cash prizes of 175 quid were being dished out and so i could see who was winning them :( for a 1st attempt it was very good though and ALL of your ideas are worth looking into for 2005. Is now a good time to arrange the Trax meet and get it all sorted ? only 5-6 weeks away :) smithy
  21. Vinz there was somewhere in the meetings section a map, however if you can find Shelduck meadow 3, then your there, the club this year is in a very long of nissan cars, we are next to the Zclub 1 side with the 350z club the other side of us, the bar marquee is just behind us too :p as is my stand and Danny's. smithy

Yer just pay at the gate when you arrive mate, find our club stand which is in the middle of ALL the nissan line up and get parked up, so best get there soon as yer can to get a space :-) smithy
  23. Just my 2p ;) Really it's only the older cars that uses viscous fans as newer ones are all electric, radiators havn't changed over the years though, SO when driving a more modern car is there a fan going at all ? no it only comes on when it reaches a certain temp to prevent over heating, on a car with viscous fan it is going all the time and the temp if it rises too much activates the electric sub fan, so what is the difference, to me theres none, only when stopped does a viscous fan help a little and if it isn't enough the sub fan comes on to cool things down. So onto the shroud, why is it really there, does it actually direct the blown air from the viscous to the rad or not, well theres a lot of opinions on this, i do know that SE for at least 10 years have often removed the fan shrouds, they did on my previous cars and when i bought the Zed nearly 5 years ago it was an old SE customers car and had no shroud and never has to this day, so no problems for me in all these years or the previous owner, lastly though, should you decide to fit an elctric fan in place of the viscous one, you never use the shroud, so is there any difference ? obviously not. Many garages i have spoken to have said the MAIN reason we have shrouds like many other older cars, is safety ! to stop half wits putting there hands down that area when the engine is running :p What would help prove this theory even better is someone who has a decent aftermarket temp gauge fitted makes some records of temps whilst driving and stopped for a few days, then remove the shroud and do the same, see if any difference and if so is it mimimal or major, then i think you will have pretty much the correct answer. smithy

As far as i know it's 10 quid a car on the day and 9 quid a car in advance ! least that's what i read the other day on my paperwork i got through. cheers smithy
