Is a different Oil Feed Pipe Required for BB turbos?
BB turbo's will happily run on slightly restricted oil flow than from stock, some companies say it's worthwhile and some say yeah if you wanna do it it's not gonna cause any probs. You certainly wouldn't go a size up on oil feed for BB's though, they can be given too much smithy

Intercoolers vs. the rest ...
Also don't forget if you price up 2 alloy rads add about 50 quids of hardware you then have the price of an intercooler kit, cos it's usually X 2 for coolers, just 1 for the rad ! smithy

I sure did mate and the kit will be with you in the morning by noon, signature required. Yer might find it easier to remove the hard pipe nearest top rad pipe, fit the rad kit then replace the hard pipe, makes life a little simpler :) cheers smithy

Would some good minded soul nip out and tell what size the bolts are that hold the coil packs in place, length of thread in mm, bolt size m8 ? m10 ? and how many washers are used on each one. I'd do it meself, but hey no car makes that kinda hard :( cheers smithy

petrol problem
My Mrs often has this as she runs a car hire firm over here and punters put the wrong fuel in, with a petrol car that's had deisel put it they just fill it up completly with fresh petrol and they run fine, with a deisel car that's had petrol put in, it's down to the local garage to be drained out and flushed through, so personally i'd run her around until you've almost used it all and after time it will be fine, after all it was only a fivers worth ! buts that's me ! smithy

WOOOHOOO!!! New Engine sorted, some Q's
The bit about the down pipes being different mate is that the stage 2 ones i do are t28/t25 crossbreads, so as they are larger the existing downpipes are too long. the turbo technics ones at stage 2 are not like that so you've no worries there mate. I did know what each of the stages meant some time ago, for obvious comparrisons :p so give em a ring and they will tell yer and let the lads know. cheers smithy

Apex'i Intake Dangerous?
Erm is'nt the fitting of the filter right onto the MAF an Apexi trade mark, I:E with the exception of one or two models, 99% of Apexi dual funnels fit onto the MAF on any make of car. So if that was the reason behind it, it would apply across the board. smithy

Thor
Vinz from my distant memory Thor was a 2 man team, however for their own reasons they went their seperate ways and the original founder carried on the name of the company, hence his activity on here. Can only assume you aint got the upto date info but he's a going strong down Coventry way and a pretty cool guy, even if he did blow one of pistons there last january  Check out the traders bud cheers smithy

Z1 motorsports asked me to do em aload with their logo on and i've the made up item here was just gonna check 100% when i get me car back from Duffers and then plug em at Billing, dohh shouldn't be any issues with fitting with the slam panel as i believe the one Coz does has no issues and mine is 99.9% indenticle. Made the 1st one over 3 months ago now just been waiting for me baby to come home  cheers smithy

intercoolers
Having looked at various comparisons of stock mounted upgraded coolers on US forums, it's really quite hard as no 2 engines are really the same. To be honest they are pretty much the same in performance wise none really stand out as FAR better than others. Having said all that Greddy are different to all the others in that they concentred on core design and thickness of the core, whilst the other makes went for higher cores whereby just over 3/4 is exposed to incoming air, leaving the rest sitting behind the indicator cluster and has on occassions caused fitment problems albeit minor when re-fitting the indicators and or front bumper. It also questions the effect as the outlet pipe is in the stock position for ease of fitment, but still has a few inches of core above it, unlike Greddy who have the outlet stil at the top and no core above it. So basically ALL the above have proved to be effective and no positive or documented proof 1 serves better than the other, however for me given the above the Greddy's just have the edge, personal choice or beliefs may be different from each person. Price wise they all go for around the same kinda money, approx 750-850 quid the full kit dependant on make and supplier, some of which are on the forum. Hope all this helps smithy
