Matt, I hope everthing works out for you, I also have just bought my first Zed, and would be heartbroken if it turned out to be full of problems. I hope everything for you is not as bad as it seems at the moment, and that you can keep your car. Whatever happens, I wish you both all the best. John

  14. How do the wiper blades come off ? I have removed the nut from the shaft, are they just a tight fit ? I dont want to damage them, are they just a push on fit ? Thanks John
  15. Would it be advisable to replace the oil cooler on my import auto 2+2 ? On this forum I have seen posts from people that suggest replacing the oil cooler will extend the life of the jap auto boxes, which people claim are a little weak. Is it a difficult job to do ? Thanks John
  16. Hi Webmonkey, I have been reading all the comments back and forth, I cant offer any mechanical advice, I just wanted to say how sorry I am that you are experiencing problems so soon after getting your first zed. I got my first zed 2 weeks ago, I know how I would feel. I sincerely hope and pray that the problem is not as serious as it may appear at the moment. Seeing all the people on this forum volunteering advice and willingness to help you must be of some comfort to you. It makes me feel that although all of us dont know each other personally, we have friends out there. Im quickly realising that the people who make up this forum must be the best on the net. Hoping its something simple, and not too expensive. Regards, John

  18. Thanks Stuart and Jonny, The previous owner of my Z neglected all the tyre pressures, they were all about 24 psi, thats why I am having to replace the tyres now, its a shame though, they all have good tread in the middle, but worn out on both sides. I shall make sure I check the pressures weekly Thanks John
  19. Got it, thats 33 and 36 psi..........I suppose its safe to assume 33 front and 36 rear, or is it ? John
  20. Stuart Yes, a sticker in Japanese, with 2 columns. Under first col. is 2.3, under second col. is 2.5 Would you assume the first col. to be 'front' and second col. to be 'rear' ? What is 2.3 and 2.5 is PSI ? Thanks John
  21. Thanks Stuart, I have stock wheels.......nothing under the armrest. Cheers John
  22. I have checked the drivers handbook and the repair manual (on cd) and nowhere can I find the tyre pressures. The drivers handbook refers you to a tyre placard in the car, I dont have that. Anyone know the tyre pressures ? Thanks John
