  1. There are only 2 I can think off which I have heard bad things about. And the thing is they are the same 2 names that keep coming up. For legal reasons I wont mention them. With any imports its hit or miss whether you get a good one. But now most are checked out and given a category before they leave Japan on the quality. Stuart

Does your steering go heavy when it stops working?
  3. You talking a lot of money for that unless you can get 2nd hand ones but then they wont be in the best condition.
  4. Feck me thats 4 clutches going or gone.
  5. Probably hit the speed limiter then. ;)
  6. Another thing. Bikers need experience too. Dont think cos you can handle the speed you know everything. About a year ago I saw 2 bikes go past, brand new and could tell that they where new to riding bikes. At traffic lights the go up the outside of me going a little too fast for riding through traffic over the ghost island where all the road crap lands, they both brake quite hard because they ran out of room. Both wheels lock up on the gravel and they both came off. They where fine but you could just tell by the way they where riding that they both new riders. Probably did one of these one week crash courses. They teach you to ride a bike but not read the road. The death rate of bikers is shooting up every year. Over half of the deaths are new middle aged riders who think they can handle it. It takes guts to ride fast, it takes more to say its too fast. Stuart
  7. My dad has a BMW motor bike RS100 I think it is. And even though that is classed as a touring bike is does 0-60 in 4.1 I think he said. He has a Kawaski ZXR 750 I think it was. That was in less the 3 seconds standard. I have been on the back of the bike when my dads been driving. Once behind a load of traffic stuck behind a tractor, doing about 20 in a national speed limit. Being a carful and very experienced rider he said to me when he gets chance he will pick the cars off 1 by 1. Clear peice of road. Open the throttle doing 30 in 2nd with in 3 seconds I looked we where doing 80mph and sill with loads of power in 3rd gear. As you can guess there was no need to pick the off one by one. We shot past them all with with in about 50 yards.
  8. No there are 2 types of buses round here. Ones which are mostly glass and dirt ones which you cant really see the colour of.
  9. Good vid. Looks very much like the cow off Back and White
  10. I got a very funny Fart Matrix. Got bits like when, Morphious farts and says. "You think thats air your breathing?" You have to watch it. Stuart
  11. No Smtihy said there is a hold up, but I am sure he is doing his best to sort it. But Hiteq said they need a weeks booking notice. So when the clutch does arrive it will be a week later before I can get it fitted. :(. Stuart Temporarily Z'less.
  12. My clutch died today. :( May it rest in lots of little dust particles that it is now in. Bit of a sod becuase its my daily driver. :( Looks like I will be walking everywhere and scaving lifts. Stuart
  13. Why has my dial post ended up on here?
  14. Something not right about that dial though. Firstly it says your doing 10mph even though I am presuming your stationary. So whats the point of the 0mph below the needle rest cos its never gonna be on it. Also the rev says its not on 0 again.
  15. How did you put the needles back in the right place?
  16. Thats true. When you put your foot down with the years of driving the car you know what to expect and when then expect it. Being in the passenger seat means you dont know what to expect. I drove my girlfriends Corsa for the weekend a while back. Getting back into my Z it seemed to fly :D
  17. May depend on the size of the Hlafords. They have quite a few in our local Halfords. I got some for £16. Locking wheel nuts are locking wheel nuts.
  18. Be careful. Loads of people pass their test and buy a fast bike straight off and end up killing themselves. Riding a fast bike is nothing like driving a fast car. I think X-Biker can back me up here.

Why? How does that work? I think I remember seeing that the stock pressure is 12.5psi though. Like the Supra
  20. Imagine Australia. They have Kangaroos for road kills.
  21. Well I think it was one. Wasnt much of it left to identify what it was. :D

KKK? OMG! I would refuse to by a car that had KKK on the plate!
  24. My girlfriend bought a MINI, but still waiting for it though  While she was doing the paper work and talking to the dealer I wandered around the BMW show room and looked at a Z3 convertable. The sales person came to me as started to bable on about how fast it was and bla bla bla. 0-60 in 6.6 bla bla bla bla. Went on to say something like "If you ever get a chance to go in a car that does 0-60 in 6.6 you will know what it feels like!" If I ever get the chance? Obviously he didnt hear the rumble of the V6 and the whistle of the twin turbos as I pulled up out side the showroom and parked right under his nose.!!!! Tosser! My mums, friend, you get that? Married a really rish person. Rich cos he works with some oil company and is away for months at a time. He said he gets BMW because its the car you have when you have money. If you have anything else would will be talked about. If he bought a new Ford, people in the neighbourhood would talk and push him out of the social circle so to speak. And if you keep your BMW for more than 3 years, talk of losing money, going bust and stuff start going round. What the ****! I bet BMW start the talking off. They send a letter asking if they want to change there 3 year old BMW, and it they say no, BMW send letter to all the neighbours telling them that they're a skin flint. :D Stuart
  25. I agree with Warren its completly different if you are there. But with F1, we have has years where 1 person dominates, fine but then we conserntrate on the other positions. However with F1 now, there is hardly any action in the other positions too, because of all the carrying heavier fuel loads. 10 years ago. 22 cars all full with petrol all battling. Now some have 1/3 tank, some have 1/2 a tank, some have a full tank. So the lighter ones shoot off while the ones with heavier loads take the attitude slow and steady wins the race. The pootle along going a second a lap slower but they only stop once and save time there. Yawn. How boring. F1 is not about slow and steady wins the race. However other forms of racing there are no refuling so all the cars start on a level playing field. Yes Rally refuel but the all have about the same amount of petrol to last the stages before they get back to the service area to refuel. When the Toca decided the had to make a pit stop. What is all that about? Any way back to what I was gonna say. Any one going the Rally in a few weeks? Stuart
