Well Warren I dont have the money to go Monaco and watch it live. I dont have £500 a night for a hotel. I cant afford they way the prices jump 10 fold when its on. I could hardly afford it when I went in August last year. Stuart

The 60,000 service is a big job unfortunately. Give JeffTT a call. You may have to travel though but you had better of traveling a little to some one who will work well your car. You may be better off buying the parts for the service yourself then paying a garage to change the stuff for you. Tyres? Depends on what you want. Some people use http://www.mytyres.net they are good for price. Also with tyres you get what you pay for but do not go for budget tyres. I had some cheap Khumos on the rear of my car and they where dangerous. Since then I have has S02's which where fantastic and now I have Falkens which are very good and nearly half the price as the S02's. The Falkens where £80ish each and the S0'2 where £150 each :eek: I have just bought some Falkens for the front. They cost me £70ish each which is a nice price. They may seem expenisve compaired to normal tyres, but they are larger than normal tyres. This is presuming you have stock wheels. You have 225/50/16 Front and 245/45/16 Rears? Pads. Ask some people on here. They can get parts cheaper than other places for quality parts too. Stuart

Yes should think so there are people hanging round, plus there are usually some interesting ones there too which people may be more interested in. :D Saying that the only other car that I saw that was of any interest in the car park was a Lotus Exige. For the parking. People queue out side when they first get there for their parking ticket. Dont!. Get it from inside there are booths there near the entrance of the hall. There are no queues there. Took us about 10 mins to get the ticket. Stuart

9:30 I think it was. We got there about 10ish and there where not many people in. By 11 it was packed and didnt have a chance to get near any cars.

FFS!!!! Whats wrong with you people? Glenn a long time member has come on here to show respect for one of this countries best actors and you have a dig at him. Reason why? Cos he has gone for a Skyline!!! WTF! He is still a friend and hes has helped out loads of people and kept us amused with some of his posts for a long time. This is not the first time he has done this either. I remember him doing it for Spike Milligan earlier in the year and he got a better responce than this. Why? Spa is my favourate track and I know that it is liked with the drivers too. Long fast curves and fast corners which shows true driving capability. Why not rid of one of the boring ones like Hungary, and I know Im gonna start an argument but Monaco bores me to death. I used to watch it every time it was on years ago. I must say what a crock of shit. There where hardly and interesting cars there. Yes a few! Nissan stand, full of Micras and Premieras, no new Z no Skyline current or new, I know they where there last year as concepts but wouldnt of it been good to see one there considering they decided to release it into this country. The new MG was very nice, and we where lucky enough to see it when there where few people in. Ford stand, nothing! The Focus RS looks exactly the same as the normal Focus. You could also play spot the fake rally cars cos there where lots of them about. You can tell the fakes cos they had 205 or 225 tyres on, considering the rules say, 200 max size!!! Also the fakes tended to have covers over the brakes so you cant see the pathetics littke brakes under the 18 wheels. Ferrari stand. 1 car. Lamborghini/BBC stand, big vid screen with a Lambo on the front. I got a better view of one on the streets in Liverpool. Also every where I went I was hastled to sign up for a ****ing credit card. WTF! I paid to see come nice cars not to be pestered. It was not really worth the £15 it cost to get in, not to mention the petrol money and the 4 hour drive back through traffic. People please tell me that its usually better than that. Stuart

I got 25mpg going and coming from the Wolverhampton meet. Thats the most I have got. I hardly went below 70 too.

Dont forget things like. Tyres. Anywhere from £200 each to £60 each and the £60 ones will be deadly. Oil change every 6000miles MAX!!!! I do it every 4000 most people do it less than that. I need a new clutch. Thats over £350 for the clutch and over £150 for labour. There are people on here who will help you keep the costs down though. Andy is always breaking a Z or two so parts are cheap from him. Stuart

But the main reason that its not going to court is becuase if it does and hes found not guilty which he most probably would becuase of the case being so old, the book would have to be removed from the shelf becuase a jury said that no rape occured and the book would become slander. Stuart
