  1. Golf balls and a few gold tees.
  2. When you thinking of ordering? Im looking at a gear knob too. And I want the boot.
  3. I am getting a Xbox for Xmas, :D. There are not as many games as the PS2 but its increasing. With new games coming out, the XBox tends to have better graphics and sound from what I understand. I have been looking at Colin McRae Rally 3 and Fifa and a few other titles which are on both and from looking at the graphics you can see the Xbox is better and also has support for Hi Res TVs. The DVD playback again from what I hear are both good. The Xbox needs an extra £20 add-on for it to work, but the Xbox is silent when playing. The PS2, you can hear the DVD spinning. People talk about the controlers a lot. The Xbox although a little large feels good, but must prefer the PS2 one. Personally I cant see what all the fuss is over. I hate the PS2 controler. PS2 has GT3, Xbox has SegaGT 2002, which comes with the Xbox when you buy it. Xbox runs a type of windows OS, so you can copy files to its hard drive Via the 100Mb network card on the Xbox and listen to music on it, play MPEG's or downloaded films on full screen through you telly, which sound good to me :D. Imagine my ZX vid on full screen LOL ;) Here are a few Xbox screen shots Stuart
  4. Yes. I think the only reason my 130W bulbs went where because I flipped from dip to mail beam a few times.
  5. Aye I know flipping caused the drivers bulb to go. Thats why I drove all through Wales on just one dip, cos if that went I was buggered. I have spare 55w bulbs with me but I didnt fancy changing 130w bulbs just after they have been on. I like my finger in a healty state. Gone back to 55w and looking at other ways to make the visability better.
  6. People keep going on about the 40%. Lets look at it another way. Firefighters want to get paid the same amount as other public servants. As stated before teachers, police officers, nurses, doctors to name all get a lot more than a Firefighter after working 10 years or so. All of their pay rises every year and they all starts on about £18,000 a year. However after 10 years, teachers get about £28,000 polive get about £28,000 and even nurses get about £28,000, rough figures. However, Firefighters start on about £18,000 and then doesnt go any higher than £21,000. Plus it is not every firefighter getting a 40% pay rise, its the potential of getting a maximum of about £30,000 a year before tax for working for 10 years and for daily risking thier lives to save others and property.
  7. Or get a really long serial cable made up ;)
  8. Did you change the COM port in the box? The COM1 bit. Try changing it to COM2 and try then COM3 and so on. Think there are only 4 of them. I dont know what one it will be on being a USB to serial adapter. Stuart
  9. Ahhh. Got ya.! Good thing about them now you can get classic insurance on the older ones leaving you NCB free to be used on a daily driver. Performance is very good, but modifications can get espensive. You can put exhaust, air filter and chip it, but after that cost start to go up. :(
  10. Right. Im confused? Which car is going to be your track day car? The Z?
  11. Congratulations.
  12. Can I say that the Fire Fighters are NOT putting peoples lives in danger. The people are already in danger and its the Firefighters job to get them out of danger. However every one is saying they are putting lives at risk. When Micheal Schumacher goes round a track at 200mph its not the fire department who has put his life at risk, he has. When I drive my car home the fire service is not putting my life at risk. But when an incident happens, its not the peoples fault that the accident happend or fire started, or its not just an accident, its the fire fighters fault they are in danger. Its not. Its something that the government keeps regurgitating to try and push the public against them. Fire Fighters get paid aprox £6 an hour. People in the call centre where I work start at £6. You get £5.70 per hour for working an evening at McDonalds. Stuart
  13. Well the part about thier is no difference in the light output is total bull shit. I know for a fact that it is a hell of a lot different to the fact that I can see the road, copaired to the 55w ones where I can see just as good with just the side lights on. However last nights skirmish to Wales the flipping from main beam to dips blew one of the dip lights. But I must say that only 1 130W dip working was still a lot better than both 55w dips working. And I had new Bosch 55w bulbs which say they are 33% brighter than normal. Stuart
  14. Went to the rally today, hoping for the Halfway stage but because the person who we were going with was 45 mins late and then took more time doing other things later on in the day, we missed the tickets by 10mins. Went back and got into another stage, forgot which one it is and I thought thing where looking up. Anyway, it was crap. You where very restricted to where you could go and the most you could see a car for was about 2 seconds the very MAX. Very disapointed. £50 for petrol and £20 to get in. Was very much a waste. Also we all know how back Z lights are, coming home pitch black no street lights and as I swithched from main beam and dips the drivers dip blows. So I am driving home with the passenger dip light not wanting to risk switching between the dip and main beam, so I drove all through Wales with just the passenger dip on. Did any one else go? Did any one else enjoy it? Stuart

Sound like it to me. Even though the limiter on a Jap Z is 112mph, the speedos get inaccurate after 70mph
  16. Trev I think the AON one is for over 24's or 26's. Dont think it is as high as 30. AY3388 club has insurance with them but he cant get it though because of his age
  17. Basically F.T. is normally when everything is working well and running to the correct temperature standard boost is 9psi, or just over 0.6 bar. If the engine is cold, or the detination sensor activates, the boost will be lowered to 7psi so not to cause any damage to the engine. Clever things our cars. ;) I have an aftermarket boost gauge and at full boost I get just over 0.6 bar which is correct. My dash one says I am getting 13psi. ;)
  18. Yes I thought I would. Besides it stunk the first few miles home. The bite point is very low at the moment and is very on or off, but even with about the 20 miles I have done today its getting better.
  19. My clutch is on. Its nice being able to floor it and the car moves.
  20. You git that was my tip ;) Unfortunatly I only noticed it AFTER I just forked out £900 for mine 23 4 years NCB, TPFT. Well I am glad that YOUR happy ;) Stuart
  21. I thought that ALL UK Zs where Twin Turbo 2+2 T-Top and Leather. I may be wrong
