Yes there is a boot. You put the key in the boot lock turn and lif up the spoiler. :D

Did you have your heater on? I notice if I drive at night with the heater on trickle it cools the engine quite a lot. Normally the needle for the temp sits in the middle and never moves. Even when sat in traffic for an hour in the blistering heat of the summer, it stayed in the middle. But driving with the heater on, even when its on low, dropped thed temperature to 1/4 on the dial. Plus there are 2 in the Race Wars scene and 2 in the final credits. :D And as I said before they where all picked on thier kitted out look and not on anything else. Maybe they didnt see any kitted out Z's. You have to admit that all the main cars where a little OTT.

Nelson, your post about The Fast And The Furious with no ZX's in on the 200 board....... I think you should do some research. The film was inspired by an article some one read in a paper about street racing. In the article a 300ZX raced a Mitsubishi Starion and only just won. The Starion driver then wanted a re-match but had his arsed kicked. Also the real person who Dom's character was based on, drives a 300ZX and they where planning on him to have a ZX. Proof of this can be seen in the extra features of the DVD, on the computer animated screen test of the first street race. Here are the screen shots of the animation. Sound like I have the same as you then. Its good. Sticks well and doesnt increase the weight of the clutch pedal.

Stock is no where near as good.

The washer bottle is located behind the drivers head light. Its the white bottle neck. Its got the logo of the windscreen washer on the lid. The engine coolant bottle is located behind the passenger head light, white bottle neck with a yellow lid. Thats where it is on the UK car. Cant see it being any differnet on the Jap Stuart

Is there a distributer on a Z?

Time of year where a little time before hand can save you a lot of agro. Check radiator for anti-freeze. Most coolants have anti-freeze in, so make sure you have plenty. Check washer for anti-freeze. Again most windscreen washers fluid have anti-freeze in, but check that yours have. If it freezes it could cause split hoses and split washer bottle. Tighten the fuel lines under the bonnet. The clips come lose anyway but the cold weather causes the pipes to shrik a little and the clips are not as tight as they could be. This causes a nasty petrol smell in the morning when you start up. Check your tyres for pressure and tread. Its slippy enough with out having your tyres not performing to it full potential. Buy some anti-freeze spray. Keep one in the car and one out of it. Many times my door has frozen shut with my anti-freeze inside. I use auto glym which is great but expensive. Spray some on the rubber seals at night, it will help stop the window freezing to the seal and spray some on the locks too the night before a freeze. Make sure you dont have TOO MUCH oil in the car. Especailly with the cold weather, the oil pressure may to too high and start breaking seals. Keep your car clean. The salt on the roads is a killer. Take it to the car wash if you dont have time. If not just jet wash your car every week during winter. Pay attention to under the car, especially jack points where the underseal would come off, and under wheels arches where mud settles. Safe driving.

Put a condenser in the car. ;) I found that taking the T-Top Blinds off helped me. Allows the sun to get in and warm it up quicker

3600 is where the max torque is so that's why it may feel better. I cant tell the difference except the power difference

I agree. An insurance comany can not be cheaper for every one. So even if we had 500 members to get a deal some people may be able to get insurance cheaper somewhere else. Stuart

I got my old bushes out by heating the end of the bar up with a torch then hit the bush out with a mallet.

You can get a fuel filter from Nissan. They should have it in stock. Very easy to do. Open your bonnet and there is a silver cylider just below it with 2 tubes in it. One at the back and one at the front. Thats it. Unscrew the filter take off the pipes and put the new one on. 5-10 mins top Stuart

Is it me or are shops getting stuff in earlier and earlier. Walking round town last week (about the 18th Nov) and the Xmas decorations where up and "Im dreaming of a white christmas" was blasting through the tanoy. Christmas was over a month away. The weather was warm but wet and leaves where on the trees. Thats not Xmas. Tesco have had Xmas trees and lights for sale in October. I remember because they where next to the halloween costumes. Am I the only one who thinks that Xmas should stay in December? I know people who wrote out all their Xmas cards last week I have seen decorations up in houses already. I think we should just bring it all forward to October, or have 2 a year, the shops would love that. Stuart
