  2. I think Adrain Flux do something like that. But I think its more of an addition to a policy you have with them and not one you can take out for 6 months or so. Worth a try anyway. http://www.adrianflux.co.uk

  6. There are no wars ove petty little things like NA and Turbo. There no point wasting time over stuff like that. Its childish and people turn nasty and people end up being hurt and scared for thier rest of thier life. So there is no point started arugments over NA v Turbo. We are all Z lovers, we love Z's Turbo or not, old or new. Manual V's Auto is a different matter though ;) Stuart

  10. I changed my rear speakers to some other 6x4 speakers. Im not too much on having loud boom boom music but I wanted something that didn't rattle when anything louder than a mouse's fart is played through the rears. (Rears, Hahaha) First speaker fine, screws came out OK, the wire clip was a little tricky and getting the spades out of the clip where a pain but I did it. I heard something about a pre-amp that needs to be bi-passed before the speakers will work. I looked and couldn't find anything. Plugged the speaker in and it worked fine, no probs. Hmmmm, the screw hole are further away so I had to drill plate holes. Not big problem really. Well the fact that no metal drillbit I had would make a mark on the thing. I tried every drill-bit I had. Nothing. So I screwed it so only 1 side is held down for now. That took about 15 mins, including getting tools and several attempts at drilling. Next came the otherside, which, should take less time becuase I know what I am doing now. First screw, fine, second and third fine. Last screw. Wouldnt move. So I got a better screwdriver and some WD40 and tried again, but ended up stripping the screwtop. I tried to drill it out, no not with my drill bits, in the end I had to rip out the speaker and snap the metal bracket on the old speaker to get it out. That tool about 45mins. Any way. Thats my tale but the happy bit is that I have 4 speakers that sound decent. YAY! No more rattle rattle for me. :D By the way, under the drivers rear speaker there was a big silver round thing with "Clarion" written on it. Any one know what it is? Is that the pre amp? I thought it was Bose. Stuart

  16. Alot of things do need cleaning or even changing after 12 years. Some one on TT.net posted what he did to perk up his car which involved cleaning the sensors and also replacing the vacume hoses and fuel lines. After 12 years under a hot bonet, the hoses will start to leak even if its very slighty and you dont know it. Vacume hoses will allow air to seep through and fuel lines will create a petrol smell in the engine area which is petrol evaporating from the lines. Stuart.

  20. hoses which are ontop with another hose directly below?????? What? ;) Looking at the engine, the big pipes that go into the plenium chamber are the intakes. The ones that are about the same size but go down into the depths of the engine are the turbo hoses. If you are wanting to put a turbo gauge, there is a what look likes a bolt with a small hose going into it located at the back on the right hand side of the plenium. This is where the stock boost gauge is attached to and where you plug any other boost gauge too, if that is what you are looking for. Sounds like it to me. Stuart
  21. Nice one. Good thing on the cambelt change. That alone will cost you £500 ish to get done. You have to get some pics of it when you pick it up and get down to one of the meeting. Stuart
