  2. I putted to the 1Mb one today. Fill in a form, 2 hours later got an email saying turn the modem off and turn it on. Then 1Mb. :D
  3. Publisher is a desktop publisher and not a web program, different things. Is there not anywhere that says Save As then sellect web? or HTML? Stuart
  4. YOu need an FTP client. Cute FTP is what I use. Very basic and easy. You can get it from http://www.download.com Stuart
  5. In theory all you have to do is get another make of sender unit that gives off the same resitance for oil pressure. I another oil pressure sender unit for a non-stock dail and it cost £6 for a new sender unit. Better than Nissan's £80  Stuart
  6. http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/2/3/22371837-c4dc-4f8b-af21-00c80d8b235c/dxwebsetup.exe Web installation.
  7. Sexy red Z in my street, On my drive, Oh that's mine ;) Black Jap Z at Halfords today (Friday 20th December) about 3ish. Any one here? I think not. Dont know why I have a feeling it was a NA even though I couldnt see the front of it. Stuart
  8. Bit of a shit track (And if it says I can post again I will screem!)
  9. They have a very limited choice but the prices of tyres they do have are not that bad. They seem to like Kuhmo a bit even though I thought they where terrible, but they have different make than what I had on. Stuart
  10. I think thats about right. As Paul said the stock gauge is pants. Mine reads from 50 too 100 fine then when it goes below 50 it drops to 0 because of the crap sender unit. But the strange thing is that it then works fo 10 to about 30.

Im not too sure about the 18's but I am not too up on alloys cos I cant afford them :D and all the ones I like tend to be £1000 each :(. Dont forget about tyres too. That will cost a small fortune too :( http://www.zcentre.co.uk/wheels/index1.htm Look here for some wheels. The tyres are not bad price too. For me there are none there that caught my eye but you may like some. Stuart

What can you afford? I know people with 19's on but it makes the car a pain to drive. Plus with big wheels and small brakes it really looks pathetic. Stick with 17's or go 18's. Wouldnt reckomend anything larger than that. Stuart
  13. Pete, If you try get insurance on another car they will start you a new policy with 0 no clames because your current no-claimes is being used up on your Z. On classic insurance, it makes no difference how much no claimes you have because they dont use it. This means you can use your 5 years NCB or what ever you have on your 2nd car/run about. Im not sure which companies do classic on a Jap Z. Lots do it on a UK Z but fewer do a Jap Z. Phone round and ask. Stuart
  14. I cant say what I am getting my better half. She may read what she is getting ;)
  15. Windows Media Video! Have you got the latest Media Player?

The never ending Story with Z's ;) Congrats on getting you Z back :D
  17. How old is the Z you are looking at? If it is 10 years old or older you can get insured on Classic insurance which leaves your no claims free. Phone round and ask some places for classic policy. Alot of them require you to have a second car too. If you are getting a Jap Z there are a few places who will do Jap Z's on classic. Stuart
  18. Yes I forgot about the rear spoiler. Its made of a thick sponge which will start to soak up water causing the paint on the spoiler to crack or blister. Unfortunaltly there is nothing you can do about it besides get a new spoiler. Its best to get a fibre glass one for about £180 which is a hell of a lot lighter than the original and I mean a lot lighter, which wont soak up water and wont blister or crack.. Stuart
  19. I think they are abou £250 aint they? Timmy Turbo has one I think.
  20. The general stock paint work of the car is excelent. You will get stone chips there is nothing you can do about that besides putting one of those stupid Bras on that the Americans love  Then there are parts with bird crap which happenes but there are none on mine nor have I seen anyother Z with that problem. I have seen Z's with 1 or 2 blemishes but I think they are parts that have been resprayed. I did some work and small respraying on my car a while back and cosidering I put new paint on the car next to 11 year old paint, you couldnt tell the difference in shade or colour. http://www.300zx.co.uk/rides/srrae/srrae_shiney_side.jpg Here is a pic of my Z after a polish. You cant complain about that 11 year old paint work. :D Stuart
  21. Get this BOV, its got the most unique sound and is the cheapest of the lot. here is a vid of it. http://www.nissanzx.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/BestBOV.mpeg Stuart
  22. After a rebuild your engine should be as close as new as possible.
  23. If you bin those terrible stock brakes and go bigger that means now alloys, which means modifying it. :D But I do think the back of the car looks a little naked without a spoiler.
  24. Warren, you seen that one on that vid site you showed me? Its lovely. Not the one doing do-nuts. :D
  25. I think they are 17's and V-Spec ones are 18's
